No way man. Do you. Think we all chimed in because we enjoyed the change of pace. Always cool to see what designers come up with in the creativity department. Well I guess I assumed something that was not in evidence. It is hard to tell sometimes from just text what the intent was behind the post.I guess I started to second guess the comments when I noticed you guys were liking each other's posts and the original post wasn't liked.I guess I thought everyone was having a chuckle at my expense.I apologize. You know what the word assume means. In my case it surely applies. There’s plenty of room for fun fantasy courses. It’s great imagination that makes this game so great. I’ll check this out. Played the Star Wars guy’s game and that was a blast.

Looks dope man. Classic Whiddon again! Thanks Michael. We go back a ways and I know you are not a huge fan of the unusual courses but you know me it has always been my bread and butter.I enjoy playing and designing them so to everyone's dismay I will probably continue designing "weird" courses .

I never played with black background but course was surprisingly well lit. Loved the lighthouses disguised as rocket ships with steam coming off them. I guess there is plenty of air on the moon since there was lots of crowds hanging about. Also, was there any hidden easter eggs like aliens hiding behind anything? thought i saw something that looked like a grey alien. P.S. there was a tv show called Space: 1999 from the 1970's. The crew were part of Moonbase Alpha that ended up floating in space after an accident. Some of your items like the rocket ship and water towers reminded me of some of that show. Nice work. I'll check out your haunted golf course too.

I named the course after the TV show you mentioned.I guess that shows my age .I didn't have any aliens but I did try to copy one of the ship's they used in the TV show.I think I placed it in the air on the right of the tee boxes on #14 a Par 3.Glad you had some fun.The night theme courses are well lighted enough to play with no problem.I could have made it even brighter by placing the sun directly overhead but that would have spoiled the effect I was trying to create. Thanks for the comments and I am going to play your 2 courses tomorrow morning.

Thanks Michael. We go back a ways and I know you are not a huge fan of the unusual courses but you know me it has always been my bread and butter.I enjoy playing and designing them so to everyone's dismay I will probably continue designing "weird" courses . All good man. You were the king of pure fantasy designs back in '97, and I never assumed you would change up now. With these newer graphics, it's cool to see what you can do. I just wish we had the ability to import custom art like JN/GBC. You would crush it with these new graphics and your creativity. I enjoy fantasy designs, but I tend to design more toward the other end of the fantasy spectrum. I've never played a course in real life with waterfalls, retaining wall flowerbeds around greens, or hundreds of rock formations. However, that describes almost all of my computer golf course designs. I even built a non-animated waterfall on Durango East for JN5. Looking back it was kind of cringe-worthy, but totally explains why I have overused them now that they actually appear to have moving water. At the end of the day sir, folks like you and I will always get eye rolls and snickers from the golf purists out there. However, there are a lot of people who enjoy playing fantasy courses, and those people don't care if your course follows the "rules". Keep up the good work sir!

Thanks Michael.I do miss the options that the Nicklaus series offered regarding adding custom objects and sounds.Man I could go to town with that option.Remember the course I did in the dinosaur valley with all the different dinos running around the course .As far as eye rolling and snickers go it may apply to some of my designs but not yours. You are killing it.

Yep, echoing what others have said. Really creative use of objects, fun/different environment, and a good round to top it off. Thanks for the track!
