In real life golf, I really enjoy a fun variation where we play the first hole from the red (forward) tees, the next from the white (middle), and the next from the tips (usually blue tees). Then we continue that way throughout the round. We can't mimic that exactly, but now that we can change tees between rounds in society play, we can do the next best thing - three round tournaments each from the different tees as above.
For now, I'm going to just let the society run on its own and see how we do for participation. If we get enough people, I might break us into groups to level the playing field a bit. Eventually I'll put together a little spreadsheet and start keeping track of winners and whatnot.
There are two exhibition events that start tomorrow, 10/4. Each event will be 3 rounds over 7 days on good courses by known and lesser known designers. I'm open to requests as well. The first official event will be at (what a shock) my own course, Admiral's Run in two weeks. Anyone want some more rounds each week for fun and a few extra fake dollars? Give us a try!

You know, I didn't even check. Setting will be open the first week while I think about it.

Tee setup is the same in my local area as well.
Reds/Whites/Blues
Some courses have Blacks and Golds for a 5 pin set up depending on the course
