planting my lidar course and I think I made the trees way too tall how do you check/measure heights? (my eye is clearly off) Also, I planted a few holes of forest (100s of trees), tried to area select and it doesnt like resizing multi... so I cant shrink them in bulk... any tips?

two things:
Now that I know (maths!) how to measure height of tree in game - any tools/methods to determine what height to set for accuracy? Guesswork?
so I think I need to blow away a couple hundred trees.. no way to mass select and shrink?

i went with a pointy Pine for reference, it seems to be the best shadow also using google earth pro, they seem to have good elevations for tree height estimations...

Knew it when you filled in the flat surface part I missed... Carry on, hehe. Also, look up trees species online to find typical mature heights. Edit: You can use fairway width at same distance as tree in question from tee, etc... In a photo for reference, since you have the fairways mapped. Or, take the timestamp from the aerial photo and reference the sun angles there and back them into the actual heights, ha.

If your course has 3d ground view available for it in Google Earth, you can get approximate tree heights from looking at that.
