Can someone give me a one sentence description of each theme or send me somewhere that has it?
My vision is to have my society play each one but in some sort or rational order Like I’m driving across the country.
does that make sense?

It's tough to give a firm description of some of them because they are so versatile but I'll try.
Boreal: Tough one to nail down, very versatile but the general idea is your standard wooded area type thing, pines and whatnot. Delta: Again very versatile but sort of dunsy coastal southern feel Swiss: Mountains Countryside: Sorta like Boreal but drier I guess... idk, this is the toughest one for me to describe. Can be used for a lot of different things Rustic: Thick green and lush trees Tropical: Self explanatory Autumn: Fall colors Harvest: Also fall colors Highlands: Attempt at the UK links coastal feel but is also pretty versatile
Feel like I'm missing a couple but hope that helps. Just load up a new course and look at the sample pictures of each theme

Desert - pretty much self explanatory, sand and a lot of nothing else Boreal - northern dense forest look, with birches and pine trees, some rolling hills Tropical - islands and beaches, along with palm trees Countryside - wasn't really sure on this one, but I pulled this quote from a blog about the original Golf Club game back in 2014: "Based on late summer in the greener areas in southern England, the Countryside Theme fits the typical idea of English countryside in that it is green and tranquil...Fields surround the editable area with a gentle horizon beyond that." Harvest - looks like a combination of the Countryside theme, with some autumn trees thrown in. Looks a lot like the New England area of the U.S. Delta - this theme looks like it could be coastal areas in several places, like the bayou in Louisiana, on the ocean coast in the Carolinas or Florida, or even on the Pacific shores on the West Coast. Rustic - this theme seems pretty versatile, and gives a look of many of the traditional parkland courses found almost anywhere. Swiss - high elevations and large mountain backdrops Steppe - very much like the Desert theme, but offers some different backdrops that have more prominent features. Autumn - honestly, looks very similar to Harvest. Could not really say any more about this one. Highlands - straight out of Scotland, but can also give off the vibe of a Bandon Dunes, Whistling Straits, or Cabot Links.
Hope this helps...I'm not as familiar with some of the themes as I am with others.

That is freaking perfect and exactly what I was looking for. I know things are a little skewed with being g able to put palm trees on hill tops and all that. LOL Thanks

I found countryside gave me the most object/memory to play with, so I went with that!

Of course, they essentially don’t matter any more as all trees and plants are global so you’re basically looking at backdrops, autogen planting and base textures only. The differences are far subtler than in 19.. Soooo:
Countryside and Boreal: brown out the heavy rough a bit more Delta: gets a bit sandier, has island options Tropical and Highlands: get a bit rockier, have island options Desert: Sandy base texture Steppe: red base texture, has island options Rustic: still awful Autumn, Harvest: give you multicoloured background trees. Swiss: has mountains.
You can create an Autumn course in desert if you want now; that’s how meaningless some of the themes are. Gives loads of options but I wouldn’t classify by theme in the way you would have done last game.
