Hi all,
I'm not sure if this is true or not - When I play courses the grasses can be seen from a distance, whereas I have noticed that those types of planting objects appears as the fly by to the hole is occuring when I'm designing. Is there a setting that needs to be applied or optimal size of objects (grasses) that I need to plant for them to appear from far away?
I'm not sure I have described that very well sorry or indeed this is the case on all courses and as I have a spotlight on my courses it's more obvious to me.
Feedback would be appreciated.

Depends on graphics settings, really. Grasses will always fade away at a certain distance. You can get around it by making them giant but have to be REALLY careful as they look stupid if your golfer ends up standing next to a 20ft high blade of grass. I think Black Salt Valley is a good example of how to accomplish this - you go from smaller than normal sized grass just off the fairways and greens to mammoth grass further away with everything in between.
Short answer though is to check periodically from where the golfer is playing their shot from on different settings. I tend to design on ultra but will check on high graphics periodically.
