Has anybody not calibrated their clubs yet if so how is it going? Thought I would just tee it up on first round today what a mess.

Prior to starting qualifying I was practicing with different controllers and calibrating them etc
I started qualifying after changing controller back and forgot to calibrate. I played the best I had since I got the game.
Long story short I don’t know if calibrating does anything to be honest.

Thanks for the help I thought that as well I guess you can not just fire the game up and play with out getting the feel first.

Don’t get me wrong I’m sure it’s helped others but it didn’t help me.

A couple of times early on but not since. Hasn't made any difference not doing it before every session or whatever like some have done. I may do it again soon with my new found swing method though.

I believe the calibration feature in this game should be renamed "false hope"
it doesn't work as intended in my opinion

I have never once calibrated my swing in-game. I can get a decent amount of perfects, still get my fair share of fasts and slows, but it seems pretty consistent. For me, the swing feels fine without the need to calibrate.

I still believe calibrating only tells the system what platform you are on and does very very little to the actual swing. Calibrating WILL NOT fix a bad swing But will make all platforms near the same. Unlike TGC19

I tried calibrating for a slow tempo last night. After calibrating my first shot was slow. I tried doing it even slower and got a fast swing. Made no sense at all

I've found exiting out of the game and reloading it works much better for tempo than calibrating my swing. Seems crappy tempo is on a time release as soon as you fire up this game. As soon as you take your 1st swings of a session..the clock starts

It does work. I didn't use it until about 2 weeks in. But once I sussed the game out, settled on some clubs & game style I calibrated fast. It gives me more perfects with irons & the hybrid is easier to control. It just lost the calibration the other day & I had no idea where perfect was. The same happened inbetween rds when I left it for about 20 mins. When I calibrate I pick a spot (between 2 deers) & get within a couple of yards for all 10. Then go down to the 7 iron & see where perfect is. Normally hit 5 out of 6 perfects & go play until it's lost again...

The timer must have been broken when I played a society tournament on Firethorn yesterday 😂. Right from the start every swing was a red fast for some reason even though I was using basically the same rhythm as I've been doing the last week or so which has mainly resulted in perfect or grey fasts and slows. When I hit a perfect it felt really slow on the controller. I ended up at +28 after two rounds.
Last night I loaded the third round then watched some TV with the missus until she went to bed. Played the third round afterwards and the tempo behaved itself more or less how it had done before. I shot +1 that round. It was rather strange what happened in the first two rounds.
