All done and dusted for Q-School, -23 followed by a -9 over the 8 rounds for a final -32.
Absolutely no idea where that is going to put me, could be anywhere from Elite down to CC-A, we shall see.

+3, -3, +3, +3 (for +6 this week)
+14 after 2 weeks.
Felt I could have scored better the entire 8 rounds so definitely room for improvement and aiming to climb the rankings once the season starts.
Confident I am getting a card at least after reading comments and the general view of what will get a card.

Well that was a rollercoaster. How can a silly little virtual golf game get me so nervous? Pissed around missing greens and putts in rd 1 and 2 but kept the bogeys and doubles off my card to shoot pretty well. (-6 then -7). Then felt good in rd 3 nailling putt after putt to shoot a 59 (-11). My best round on the game never mind course. At this point i was feeling good about my chances of getting platinum. Cruised home the final round dodging major trouble shooting a 66. Just 3 bogeys and no doubles i was pretty proud of, as the xbox tempo is brutal to say the least. -28 total for the event and -51 total. I will take that and run! 💪 Have fun out there folks 😃 Good luck #teamxbox Welcome back to Xbox land Jules

Finished my four rounds on Evangelist better than I hoped I actually hit to sub par rounds, Rd1 -3 Rd2 +6 Rd3 -2 then a disastrous Rd4 of +9 to finish +10 for the four. My tale of woe going for the driveable par 4 twice with driver and ending in the water. Q School finished at +16 let’s see where that gets me.

I finished off that second round, ended up with a 72 so +2 overall after 6 rounds. Missed about half a dozen gettable putts leaving them short, these were only a metre or two length putts. Ridiculous really. Oh well, hopefully I can play a bit better in the final two rounds and at least go under par for the 8. If not I'm not too bothered, can always improve and move up once the season begins.

Regarding Evangelist...I was thinking about something yesterday when reading through some of the comments in here - remember St. Bedes (sp?) in TGC19 Q-School? lol

Round 3 done. Pissed off doesn't start to cover it! I was playing my best golf of the entire two weeks, tempo was decent, gave myself a number of good birdie looks, enjoyed the faster greens so even when I got out of shape my lag putting was good. Reached the 15th tee at -5 with a clean scorecard.
And then, a fast in to the water, followed by a second one in to one of those rare (cough) bunkers at 280/290 in the centre of the fairway. Hit the lip trying to get out and went about 160 yards. I say 160 yards, that was straight up in the air, forward progress was about 20. FML. Triple bogey. Played 16 well for a birdie. 17 hit a very slow off the tee which was a pain because I'd only just changed out of my swimming gear from the last one. Double bogey. And then 18, again hit one of those rare bunkers slap bang in the middle of the fairway, didn't get greedy this time and laid up but then hit a fast wedge off the back. And then, the cardinal sin of all cardinal sins had a 2 foot bogey putt which I didn't really concentrate on and hammered it over the hole. What could and should have been a nice move up the leaderboard turned in to a 71 in the space of 4 holes. +3 for the week, -6 for Q-School.
Round 4 later when I can face it, and then a day away from playing before my society event starts. And breathe.....

Anybody done this yet and is it hitable? Or will it hit the boards? I currently quit the game and am waiting to see what to do... I think even after I quit I can declare an unplayable and go back. Got here in 2 on the par 5. I hit just over the bunker, bounced up and to the right over the bunker, rolled all the way to the top of the green and all the way back down the entire green before it somehow stopped here... I had the exact same thing Wes, I tried quitting the round and going back in in the hope of a different lie. I seen your posts about it and checked to see if there was anything that would help me. I was more fortunate as I got out in 1 shot but did have to aim away from the pin and settle for bogey. It's annoying when it happens and will make us both wary of going near retaining walls again.

Regarding Evangelist...I was thinking about something yesterday when reading through some of the comments in here - remember St. Bedes (sp?) in TGC19 Q-School? lol Yes St. Bedes was tough but it did not have the stupid issues this game has. Hootbleet got one of those stuck in water moments and could not continue. It's very surprising to me that they stuck with this course with all the issues people were having. I think the course is good but with this fickle new game with it's thousands of glitches this course doesn't match up. Here's to hoping I don't get sucked into one of those black holes. Note: VctryLnSprts makes great courses and this is certainly one of them (think it was collaboration project sorry to who I left out). Here's to Hoping HB can get this game righted so we all can just play golf and not worry about the goofiness. Edit: see above post as to what I mean about goofiness.

In a practice round on this course I hit my ball into one of the stands to the left of the 18th green I had to hit the ball out along the length of the stand because it won’t go through the railings, I would say in the situation the ball was in you would have needed to try hitting the ball along the gap in the boards to stand a chance of it coming out.

I had this happen in a practice round...when I declared an unplayable it put me all the way across the lake in the rough as my only drop zone. Couldn't get back across the lake because it was deep rough and maxed out on the hole. Went from -4 on the round to way over par in a hurry. Just a poor design in my opinion. It looks great to the eye...but just not fair that there is no real drop zone

Round 4 later when I can face it, and then a day away from playing before my society event starts. And breathe..... Welcome to my tournament experience. All week I seemed to find a groove. My approach shots were getting nice and close (still are to a degree, seemed to have found my groove there) -5 from last week. By the end of 2 at this weeks course I was -10 + my -5 from the previous week. Was well on my way to hitting my -20 for the entire Q school. Not much but for me was my target. So -15 with two more rounds to go. Like what could go wrong? Round 3 was a real grind the 1'st 9..then the back nine happened..I fell apart. I then continued to implode in round 4. I actually rage quit on the 18'th final hole after a very slow water ball. Was ready to take a DQ and not finish. Totally gave up. But that isn't me, doesn't sit well with me so I went back in, took my medicine. Came here and saw there were more flights added. And it gave me the will to go on lol. Can't thank Doyley and the crew enough. It gives a hack like me a little breathing room. With my +2 overall total score. Still kind of miffed to see me in 640'th place only to know I'm going to slide when rounds 3 and 4 post. I went from "Screw this game, I'm done" to a "Ok, I can live with this", will wind up lower in the tours than I had hoped but the more I think of it, its for the better. I'm re learning the game from the ground up as most of us are and doing the grind to work my way up will be beneficial for me in the long run. This last week has seen a corner turned for me. I went from barely ever hitting the green and becoming sick of chips and splash shots to hitting a lot more GIR's and now seem to getting myself within 10-20 feet on many holes.

67 and 71 for my final two rounds puts me at -10 for Evangelist and -24 overall after the 8 rounds. I left far too many putts out there on the final round and I found the water for a double on one of the holes. Tough conditions.
I'm not so fussed where I end up but I'm guessing towards the upper end of the CC tours. Wherever I play, I'm looking forwards to some good and fun competition.
