PhilMickLite - yea, it wasn’t personal, I was just amused by the timing of the two posts in order. I’m aware that many people this week will not like certain aspects of the course. No harm in that, everybody has a right to their thoughts about it.

Just played all 4 rounds in one sitting. Shot a -5 -3 -4 -2 for a -14, probably below average for me. Hopefully that is enough to squeeze me into Kinetic or, hopefully, Elite. I shot a -21 last week (-8 -4 -8 -1) which I was mildly proud of. Approaches were definitely key on Evangelist. Course was fun and unique, but the green layouts got a bit repetitive. I need to decide whether I'm going to play fasts or perfects – I think fasts off the tee still, but probably perfects elsewhere (besides maybe sketchy splashes or pitches).

Shot -37 (-10 -12 -11 -4). Currently T5 on PS4. That felt amazing. Shot -29 at Whiskey, so that puts me at -66 total.
Good luck to everyone who is yet to play their rounds. Platinum here I come!!

R1 -4 R2 +2 R3 E R4 -6 Had 23 birdies and An Eagle and only managed -8 for the four rounds. Combined with the -18 at Whiskey I'm -26 for the 8 rounds. No idea where that'll end up but my best guess is CC-A. Good luck!!!!

Only played 8 holes in the second round so far before I ran out of time, decided to end on a positive note after birdieing the 8th. Brought myself down one stroke to +2 overall.

It's also on the home page of www.tgctours.com - look for the stormy St. Andrews picture - link is there as well.

I’ll have to admit that I found it amusing that a guy who shoots +61 at Evangelist says “too many well-executed shots are punished,” and literally the next guy that posts shoots -43. Real talk: you may hate the course, and that’s okay, but how many well-executed shots did you hit to shoot +61? I could jokingly say "a lot, but they were all severely penalized" but of course that wouldn't be realistic. I just think that if one hits a green without ridiculous speed or spin that, while the ball doesn't necessarily have to hold the green, should at least not result in having to replay the shot. I watched your 4-man stream (btw, really enjoy your stream) before the round where you were warning against shots hitting the "wrong" side of the green and rolling without resistance either into the water or the OB. I readily admit that aesthetically I dislike most courses dominated by sand so that is likely part of the frustration I will have to play some of your other courses you've designed, I'm sure I can find some more to my liking. Give Hallstatt North a go - very nice Swiss themed course..

Finished up tonight! Swing was shakier than yesterday and I was fighting the slows off and on for the last two rounds. Unfortunately I got greedy on #12 in R4 and a fast popped in to find the water. I had gone -5 over the first three rounds on that hole, so I felt I could go to the well once more to muster a perfect or maybe get a bailout slow... Nope, even a slight (grey) fast was just enough to slip off and tumble into the water. I'll still take an average of -1 on that hole for the week. I think that was my only water ball or OB for the event as well. I also had the left pull putts creep back in these two rounds after seemingly not having much issue with that yesterday. Anyways, for Evangelist I went -6/-12/-6/-3 to go -27 for the week. Just like in the TGC2019 mass Q-School event, I played the "harder" course better than the "easier" one. Sitting at -50 after all 8 rounds and that seems destined for deep Purgat... I mean in the lower ranks of Platinum. I guess that means I am consistent because that's where I was all of last season, too, right?!
Edit: This puts me "only" 42 shots behind the current leader which would be 21 shots on average per weekly event, or 10.5 shots back after two rounds when fighting to make cuts. Actually, that doesn't sound all that far off from last season, so I guess I will do the same (if that -50 holds to Platinum, which I "think" it will) as last season and just try to make cuts and avoid demotion marks.

Well, minimized as much damage as I could on the Evangelist - in at +13 for the 4 round total. Puts me at +14 for the Q total - will end up in CC somewhere I reckon - right where I've lived the last 3 seasons. Looking forward to the start of the season and the weekly competition in whichever flight I land.. For those that end up in one of the new CC flights - G thru L - I've already created the forum badges for those flights if you wish to add it to your sig line on the forums.. tgctours.proboards.com/thread/16825/get-forum-tour-badge

Anybody done this yet and is it hitable? Or will it hit the boards? I currently quit the game and am waiting to see what to do... I think even after I quit I can declare an unplayable and go back. Got here in 2 on the par 5. I hit just over the bunker, bounced up and to the right over the bunker, rolled all the way to the top of the green and all the way back down the entire green before it somehow stopped here...

Yep, I hit off that in a practice round, no problem. Mine was about where yours was, halfway from grass edge to water edge. I think it was that hole, not sure though. Also, I was able to see my ball on the deck, unlike you.
