Finished at -62 for the 8 it might be enough. Had -11 in r1 and hit it dog meat. R2 i had a shot end in the rough nowhere near the water and it put me 85 yards over the other side of a pond. Got up and down for par but speed golfed thru with little to no interest. Im losing the will to play this game already and weve only just started. Swing it bad to score good is just as backward as the last game. I still cant fathom how you can get a slight grey fast go 12 yrds long left if aiming straight and you can aim it 20 boxes right and blast a red fast and have more control. Game is @!$#ing broke. I just dont get any enjoyment playing the fast. Its feels like gaming the system. Since when can fully lofting both sticks penalise a perfect tempo swing but makes no difference if you hit a red fast. Ive had a play with the fasts but really hate having to swing it bad to score good. Good course selection and good luck all left to play.

I really think the platinum cut off will b slightly higher than others are predicting, just think with the blow up holes dotted around this course, over 4 rounds most will get into some trouble. I think maybe -43 will b the number overall. Which means i need at least -5 each round average, challenge accepted!!

Started Week 2 after a shaky but somewhat decent -11 week at Whiskey Dunes leaving me comfortably within CC-A. My whole strategy was to just stay out of trouble on Evangelist and try to hold onto my goal of making Kinetic. Well that won't be happening for a while.
Round 1: Executed game plan to perfection and played as well as I ever have tee to green. Couldn't buy a putt and a round that could have easily been 6 or 7 under ended up as -2.
Round 2: Disastrous start with no tempo and a 5-putt (honestly don't know how I did that wasn't even a hard pin...) to be +6 after 3 holes. Ground it out the rest of the way at even par but so pissed off at the stupid self-inflicted mistakes. +6 for the round.
Round 3: Started with some confidence that I didn't let Round 2 spiral completely out of control. Stayed out of trouble except for 1 brain dead hole where i duck hooked 2 drives into the water (Hole 11 maybe?) and took a quad-bogey. +4 for the round as my ability to make any putt over 5 feet was just gone.
Round 4: Similar to Round 1 and even made a few putts for once and ground it out for a -1.
Finished up 8 rounds at -4 which I think will be nowhere near my goal. Very disappointed overall but just glad that's over with. I know I can make it to a Pro tour one day just got to figure out some consistency and my putting was absolutely brutal in qualifying which is unusual for me.

Really enjoyed the grind, but putting was so bad, missing dozens of putts inside 15' and twice blasted balls off greens from under 4'. Three four putts and a five putt. Headed to CC-Somewhere to work on my game. Good luck all this season!

Wow. Never been so happy in my life to get off of a golf course than I was in this event.
Couldn't be more disappointed that this course will the be one that determines the placement for this season. So many goofy holes that just destroy your entire event in one swing.
Fairways that run into retaining wall guaranteeing a water ball even after you land on the green and it just barely rolls off. OB right next to a green that again screws you after your ball just barely rolls off. Bunkers every single hole right at 290 in a 25 yard wide fairway on a 470+ yard par 4 over and over again. Jesus. Why not just add some wind mills that you have to hook it around and into the clowns mouth.
Just felt like top golf meets mini golf for 4 rounds.
I have never tried to play so fast in my life after getting screwed for like the 9th time on this course. I knew it was coming, played all the practice rounds and still just couldn't avoid some of these traps.
Hopefully my rage playing rounds 2-4 will get me off the tours and give me a reason to give this game up and find a new hobby.

Based on the scores, I don’t think mayday_golf83 and I will be getting as much hate mail as I thought. People shooting 56s on this course pretty much proves that it’s not unfair in any way if you’re making the right choices, and the field average seems to be lower at this point too. For those unaware, the design of this course is an homage to template holes, so you will see designs out there a little different than most (hole 8 anyone?). Just keep that in mind when you get mad and call it an awful design, because you might as well do your research and point the finger toward someone else. 😉 Good luck out there! I’ll be playing my rounds live on Twitch tomorrow (Monday) around 4pm ET if you want to laugh at the struggles of the co-designer. twitch.tv/VctryLnSprts Rounds 1 & 3, in theory, should be the easiest setups you get. You've just gotta play smart. Could have easily started -6 or-7 thru 7 R1 had I made some routine putts. 63 was good, but that could have been a special round. Two poor swings on 6 led to a double in R2. Made a quad on 14 R3, but not how you'd think I would ... got greedy, trying to clear the cross bunkers and put two in the drink. Should have laid back. Bogey-free 64 R4 is, by far, the best tourney round I've played to date. Left a couple out there, but to make it through R4 unscathed overall is a hell of an accomplishment. Overall: 23 birdies, 2 bogeys, 1 double, 1 quad. Scores are out there, just comes down to course management and execution. absolutely scores are out there but if you wcrew up you will pay for it, my -9 1st round followed by +1 is testiment to that, it's a great course

Good evening, okay I may just have reached Platinum with this. That would be a TGCT dream come true. And boy have I been nervous. Starting at -37, this tournament was not about scoring low, it was about securing that Platinum card. Thus, I played super-conservatively, especially during the final round. Ironically, I've been the most nervous towards the end, when, in principle, everything was done and dusted. I think I had two bogeys in the last 4 holes just because of a wet mouse. But it doesn't matter. This makes it -53 for the Q Event. The next Hunt for the Golden Cow may well take place in the Platinum Tour. Good luck all!

Well i read not to give up so i didnt. Havent had alot of practice since launch. Maybe 6-7 rounds going into qualification. After Four rounds of whiskey haha i am sitting at +19 But improving. Can anyone tell me if I'm still in with a chance of a card? Played my first rd of the second course Eva. And hit 4 under so hoping i can scrape back into a lower league if possible.. Enjoying it. Absolutely! As of this post, +15 puts you in CC-I (they added more flights). If you're able shoot E par or better at Evangelist, you will probably move up the leaderboard as there WILL be some "blow up" holes/scorecards. Keep playing and finish. And be careful with drops around Evangelist, should you find water/O.B. Safe bet is to replay the shot. 🙂

The leaderboard was showing an incorrect +2 for me last night but has now updated to the correct even par total when I scroll down to where I am. Still not showing the first round score from this event. Currently sitting in CC-D. Hopefully I can shoot under par for the remaining rounds.

Finished up my first qualifying effort. Sitting at +14 total for 8 rounds. Overall I am satisfied with my effort considering this is my first TGC game and only have had it for a couple weeks. The master setting is a bit daunting at first but I am starting to see some major improvements. I just need to work on consistency and avoid the occasional blow-up hole! Case in point I was even through the first 3 rounds on Evangelist and ended up finished +6 for the tournament thanks in part to a rough front 9 in R4.
Anyways, I love the tournament vibe provided here and look forward to grinding my way up the rankings!

Truly glaring when you realize that clubs rated with lower forgiveness are actually more beneficial for players playing exclusively for the fast. An easy fix would be to have random ball flights (left, right, short long) the farther the tempo gets from perfect. There’s very little incentive to attempting to achieve perfect. Tough to compete that way when results for fasts are so predictable right now. Once again an HB thing.

-4,-3, +2, +2
Was pretty happy with my first 2 rounds and was -5 through 11 in round 3. The I hit 12. Laid up...fast....water. pitch shot into green...fast...water. Repeat one more time for a 10 on the hole. Couldn't recover after that. That one hole cost me a few hundred places pretty easy.
-21 total through 8 rounds. Extremely disappointing as my goal was at least -30. Going to most likely be in Kinetic/CC A or B but I think the quest to move up will be more fun then getting cut from the top tour every week.

Evangelist all done. -9 -7 -9 -5 Finished last round with two bogies which was annoying. Played okay. Definitely a lot of room for improvement. So -60 overall for me. Will wait and see where that leaves me.

I played real well in 2k19 Q school and then couldn’t content week to week from there. Fell to Euro. Should have fallen to KF but always erased my X’s just before falling. I haven’t played this week’s event yet, but I’m just going in thinking why not start on CCs and see if I can actually compete for once.
