Finished +24 after rounds of 84,72,84,72!!,on PS4..so p***ed off with this game as still having so many swing issues, with not being able to make a swing on the tees or the putter not swinging back,or if I could make a swing it not registering the forward push n hitting shanks or snap hooks,or the swing line going straight left or right at the very top!!....great course tho. I had the same happen to me with the controller I'd only used for TGC the last couple of years a week after buying 2K21. Controller works fine with any other game though. Had to go to an older controller which has a dented thumb stick where the cat was chewing on it. Good excuse for when I'm crap though.

The putter thing, not the cat thing.

Starting to finally see some improvement to my game. I finished up at -41 for the first four rounds.
I struggled badly to start with, my swing had developed a definite loop, which started left of center on the backswing and finished right on the downswing. I eventually figured out how to eradicate that by moving the controller in my hand and started to play some really nice stuff.
I need some serious work with the putter; I did hole some nice ones, but my short range putting between 8 and 12 feet was very poor.
Round four was a blast, I think that I made 3 eagles in the last 6 or 7 holes and another one on the front nine.
Going for fasts most of the time (hence the sudden upturn in scoring), but I played some excellent perfect approaches, especially on the reachable par four and the longer par threes.
Had this lucky splash shot after a terrible tee shot...

Well, that was an adventure. Streaming my rounds made my frame drops worse than normal, and they've been pretty bad offline. I'm not even sure why given that my CPU nor GPU are anywhere maxed at the settings I'm playing at (like less than 25% usage on both). Was a fun roulette of scrambling because of several max fasts/slows, and bogeys definitely occurred when they happened consecutively, or when they happened while putting (I think *every* one of my three putts were starting from 10-20 feet, while I was consistently in tap-in range at 45+ feet). No double bogeys or higher though, so all those putts were very much in birdie range... R1: 70 (-2) R2: 70 (-2) R3: 69 (-3) R4: 66 (-6) Total: 275 (-13) I didn't make a single putt at 10+ ft until the back 9 of R4, and it wasn't due to my proximity to the hole either. On PC I'm tied for 363 right now on long putt percentage currently . I had more chip ins than I did "long" putts (3). That certainly isn't going to get it done. I don't think I'll try streaming competitive rounds until I can figure out the reason for these frame jumps (any suggestions?), because they will absolutely cause me to shoot 80+ next week. I'll note that changing my graphics settings do not change a thing about the frequency.

If you are running a freesync GPU and Monitor or are running a G-sync GPU AND monitor... you should turn off v-sync in the game as they can conflict and mess up your frame rate. Remember you have to have both the GPU and the monitor running freesync/g-sync or it won't make any difference.
I have turned down my settings from ultra to medium. This allows me to nail in 60 FPS for all the courses, including some of the larger and more graphical intense courses. You may have to turn down resolution, bloom or other things to make it where your frames stay rock solid. If they aren't they can and will effect your tempo.

Huh, I'll give it a shot. One of my monitors is G-Sync and the other is freesync, and I was playing on the G-sync monitor this time (with G-sync enabled for the game as well) so that conflict in the game settings could very well be the issue. Thanks for the advice!
Edit: Just did a quick round on next week's course and the game was actually running smoothly for the first time even at 144 Hz. Seriously, thanks a lot for pointing that out!

Leaderboards seem to be updating at 0500UTC not 0400UTC?

Leaderboards seem to be updating at 0500UTC not 0400UTC? This would depend on if where you are at follows Daylight savings time or not?!?

ROUND 3 Scores are in....
Some stats for you all...
2686 participants have started Qschool
2461 have finished 2 rounds
2142 have finished 3 rounds
Therefore at this point in time 544 are up for exclusion. Clearly won’t stay that way but it’s an indication that the drop outs will still be a meaningful number.
Oh and the median is +5, and 1450 rank is at +7

20 shot spread from #1 to #150 (Platinum: -38 to -18). Still 1 round left to factor in.
Edit: For reference sake, no other tour has a spread more than five shots in the current format for season 7.
I feel like I am ready to eat my own words after all I said about the TGC2 World Tour experiment, but if you take out the Top 50, then the spread from #51 to #200 is down to 8 shots, which is more manageable/competitive?!

How do you check the tourny stats?

How do you check the tourny stats? There isn't any link to any macro tourney stats, but if you mean your own personal stats, it is all the way on the right on the leaderboard. On mobile I cannot get to the link (maybe I could if i tilted my phone 90 degrees, but haven't tried that), but I can on my PC in a browser.
