@bearforlife73 - Maybe at some stage in the future......I've seen enough sand for a while plus I think you'd probably need lidar to do Tara Iti justice. Hi, I am a member at PK and I am absolutely gobsmacked at the job you've done. Unfortunately I only play on Sim which only has TGC2019 and also never tried to design a course. Just wondering, is it possible for you to transfer this to TGC2019??? Alternatively, how long did it take you to do the course in case I want to give this a go? Thanks in advance. Hi. Unfortunately it's not backward compatible. I did finish Victoria Golf Club in TGC2019 though if you wanted to give that a go. As for how long it takes to create an RCR, I honestly couldn't tell you as I don't keep track. If I was to guess, I'd say an average of about 2hrs a day for 3 months roughly so maybe 130-160 hours. Hope that helps

We're still under lock down so might start watching some youtube vids and give it a go myself... looks likehard work though.

Fantastic job you've done with this, just played it! Very nice atmosphere and I enjoyed and "bought" the planting. This is the kind of course in game I just know I would enjoy playing in real life, sooo, RCR-mission 100% complete I guess I have to admit I took way more aggressive lines I would take in real life, especially off the tee. Shortsiding yourself with those bunkers so close to pins (1) was really scary. Really nice greens to putt, putts held their lines well. I like the course layout, nice mixture of risk&reward holes and "normal" holes. Edit: Didn't see that comparison picture posted by LucasEatWorld couple of posts back before posting, now that is impressive. Gives us new designers some idea what you can do.

LucasEatWorld - Thanks very much for taking the time to create the account and provide the feedback. Great to hear you enjoyed it. pervez - You know what .... I just remembered I built the course and did the sculpting in tcg2019 but just didn't plant it until 2k21. If you hit me up in DM's I should be able to send you that course file (if you have the game on pc?) and all you would need to do is plant it then publish it as your own. That will still take you a long time but it's better than starting from scratch and the measuring actually takes a very long time. If you don't have the game on pc, I did publish an unplanted beta in tgc2019 nonusehki - Thanks for the feedback. I know what you mean about the aggresive lines. It's unfortunate that bunkers play so easily in this game. Some of those holes are much more daunting (and fun) to play in RL. Thanks again.

So I had a weird thing happen last night. I was in the designer working on my RDC when I got a notification on PS4 that a friend was playing Peninsula so I clicked in to join the party. As I played my round, the game was being glitchy (at the end of every hole it acted like I was exiting the game and had me click ok to confirm) but it let me get through the course well enough. When the round ended, the game took me back into the designer...except I was no longer designing my course! I now had full access to the PN build file and could tweak and playtest as much as I wanted...but it would not let me publish or save the file in any way nor would it allow me to exit the designer. I then told my friend about it and he said he never knew I had joined the course with him but that his game was constantly bugging out at the end of every hole. At any rate, it was an interesting walk on the dark side and really cool to see how Heisenberg built the clubhouse because that's something I've struggled with and I've yet to find a good tutorial on complex buildings. I turned on the ps4 this morning, launched 2k21, headed into the designer and everything was back to normal.

Yeah, that's been a weird bug for a while. Figured they might have fixed it by now.

So THAT's how that bug works? Hold to join a match while in the designer and then you get to 'see' their course file afterwards?

Just an unbelievable effort, your planting is golfing Crystal Meth, I can’t get enough of it Heisenberg!

@mctrees02 - Thanks for sharing. I didn't know that was even a thing and as long as people can't publish, I guess it doesn't really matter. Hope you paid your tab at the bar. Just an unbelievable effort, your planting is golfing Crystal Meth, I can’t get enough of it Heisenberg! Eheh. It's pretty easy when you're just copying images tbh. But thanks...

The bummer was I lost about 30 minutes worth of work on my course when I came back to it but I was really just toying with rerouting a few holes.
