⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Fair dinkum unreal. Easily one of the best RCRs available. Looks and plays so good. If I was to be be hyper-critical (& a twat), it seems a little flat. Was that in an effort to make it playable on 2k21, or does it just appear a bit flat due to the 2D nature of the game?

Was that in an effort to make it playable on 2k21, or does it just appear a bit flat due to the 2D nature of the game? Not a twat at all . It might depend on which part you mean is flat. If you're talking about the total elevation of the course, I honestly thinks it's about as accurate as I could get to the metre anyway. From the low point of the 13th green to the high point of the 2nd green, it was exactly as per Google Earth Pro. Obviously it's never going to be 100% perfect throughout unless it's lidar but in general from tee to green on each hole, it measured out really well. If you're talking about flat on the fairways, I think that sometimes can depend on the lighting(?). If you have subtle undulations in full light, I'm pretty sure they're harder to see than ones that are in shadow. There's also some undulations that I would have just got wrong tbh. Basically any RCR done withouth lidar is never going to be perfect imo Thanks for the feedback and the play through - I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Ive played it several times now, with all of the pin sets, and have got to say you've done an amazing job. The movement of the land, and elevation changes are extremely well done. The fact that you did this without lidar data is pretty amazing!
Pin sets 2 and 3 are my favourite, with some of the cooler hole locations often used for medal play. The front pin on the 2nd is really tricky, as it should be.
My only negative feedback would be the default greens speeds are a bit too slow and soft - though turning the surfaces up to very firm/very fast makes it far more realistic.
Fingers crossed you decide to do the South at some point!!

Fingers crossed you decide to do the South at some point!! The green speeds were a conscious decision as setting them lower allows society organisers to increase/decrease them according to their preferred difficulty. Eg. I believe they can't be set to 'slow' when the default is 'very fast'. This might have changed in 2k21(?). So basically publishing them at 176 is fine when the player & societies can adjust themselves anyway imo With that said, I was even going to do them slightly slower as I've always felt VGC, RM etc were much firmer and faster than Peninsula but Ben convinced me 176's were better anyway and I'd definitely have to agree in hindsight. Did you happen to find the Easter Egg or know what it was? Thanks for taking the time to play and for the feedback.

Did you happen to find the Easter Egg or know what it was? Thanks for taking the time to play and for the feedback. On the green speeds/firmness - that absolutely makes sense, not everyone wants it as fast as possible haha. From limited personal experience, I've found RM greens firmer but slower, and VGC about the same as PK (their recent green renovations by OCM have given VGC the same pure distinction bentgrass greens as PK). I'm glad you didn't go slower, as changing to very firm and very fast plays very true to life, but allows the full range for everyone. I forgot to look for the easter egg, i'll go around again later tonight, but i'm going to guess its around the 3rd or 5th green sites - hopefully I can find it! If i was to be hyper critical, some of the elevation between 7th green and 17th fairway isn't quite right (doesn't effect playability at all) - it falls away pretty hard behind the 7th green and slopes down to the 17th fairway. Without lidar data though, it's amazing at how well you've recreated the course - thank you for putting in effort to make this, its amazing and will be getting a lot of action in the near future.

This will be course #2 this Friday for Xbox Friday night...teeing off sometime after 7pmEST. This is an extremely well done RCR IMO. The steeams will be in the shout box as well as here after the rounds for your viewing at your leisure.

Thanks rhino4life I'll definitely tune in if I can. Appreciate the support. bump for the course again, but also the new amazing signature line you made haha! Well done! Eheh. Ty. Was inspired by one of my new favourite streamers that many of you already love .....Drive safe Unfortunately he hardly streams when I'm awake but I don't miss a vod now. For anyone who hasn't seen what nedward comes up with on his streams - do yourself a favour and tune in - Nedbuttercup The guy's a streaming genius.

Hi,
I am a member at PK and I am absolutely gobsmacked at the job you've done. Unfortunately I only play on Sim which only has TGC2019 and also never tried to design a course. Just wondering, is it possible for you to transfer this to TGC2019??? Alternatively, how long did it take you to do the course in case I want to give this a go? Thanks in advance.
