Is there any way to change the size of the available plot in the designer? Also how do multiple courses on the same plot work (ie like the recent Whiskey project)? I assume this project took up more space than the standard plot size

No I don't think you can change plot size. Since they are on PC they can share course files. What i think they did was design all their holes without creating actual holes ie. placing tees and pins and just create greens, fairways, planting etc. Then they copied and shared the file and went in and placed holes individual for their specific course.

You can extend the plot by creating a hole and then moving it off the map but it really drags down the frame rate so not advisable. Best thing I've learnt from the more experienced designers is to keep your routing tight - it can double the effectiveness of your planting and it's exciting to look from one hole to another to see what's to come!

See above for making the plot bigger. To get multiple courses on the same plot you obviously start with making a full 18 hole course. Publish it. Then go to your completed courses and choose edit. This will create a copy of the course in the designer. Then delete all the existing hole waypoints and design another course on the same plot

If you used LIDAR in TGC 2019 you could create some very large plots of land.Don't ask me how it works i think on one course it was over 3200 yards from one side to the other.
