Thought this was some sort of fictional course. Just hit up Mr. Google and it's... REAL! Amazing hole. TPC Sawgrass no. 17 but with rocks! What's the back story om this course? Anything to do with the late great Payne Stewart?

Thought this was some sort of fictional course. Just hit up Mr. Google and it's... REAL! Amazing hole. TPC Sawgrass no. 17 but with rocks! What's the back story om this course? Anything to do with the late great Payne Stewart? It is a tribute to Payne Stewart, who was a native of the Ozarks region of the US, where the course is located. It's also the first public access course designed by Tiger Woods. bigcedar.com/golf/paynes-valley-course/

Tee one up at "St Charles CC" located just west of Chicago, IL! "Situated amid 140 acres of magnificent rolling hills and home to immaculately manicured greens, our championship 18-hole course measures 6,926 from the back and 5,551 from the forward tees. SCCC is a full-service golf facility with a pro shop, men’s and women’s locker rooms, a driving range, putting green and a friendly staff of teaching professionals who offer expert instruction. We also offer a unique and enjoyable Quarry course, built on a former sand and gravel quarry, with native vegetation and elevation changes that are unique among other courses in the area. The championship course has hosted a U.S. Open Sectional Qualifier, won by professional golfer Steve Stricker and, more recently, the 86th Illinois State Amateur Championship."

Tee one up at "Clear Creek" located near Lake Tahoe in Nevada. This is another spectacular Coore and Crenshaw designed course! Enjoy!! “Clear Creek represents the best of both worlds: great architecture in a great setting. As they always do, Coore & Crenshaw took what the land gave them and then enhanced it for golf. They’re two great minds with a singular vision.” –Ran Morrisett, Golf Club Atlas "EIGHTEEN CHAPTERS. ONE RIVETING STORY. Deception. Conundrum. Reflection. Contemplation. Temptation. Five of eighteen holes that are each absolutely unique, yet as a whole foretell an experience unlike any mountain course in America. To read about how each was crafted, literally by hand, is one thing. To call this course your own is something very special indeed."
