It's not the controller. I've used 4 different ones and multiple others are having the same bug. I also have 4 DS4 controllers, none of them do it. Have you ever reset your controllers using the pin hole underneath? Easy to do. I reset mine from time to time. Make sure it’s wired to console but everything off. Use a blunt thin object like a paperclip and hold that reset button for 10 seconds. Maybe that will help. Again, like I stated - they work fine in every other game, they work fine in PGA Tour 95% of the time with a headset plugged in, it worked fine 100% of the time (for this bug) before the most previous patch, and when I'm driving, chipping, splashing, flopping, etc - it doesn't do it either. It's literally putting only, only been since the last patch. I will give this a shot because I didn't know that was a thing - but I'm guessing it's not going to change much. I do appreciate the assistance from most in this thread though!

It may be unique to you and if it is happening with multiple controllers, the issue may be in the console or maybe even airwave interference from other wireless devices (yes that is a possibility). The controllers may not be the problem at all The issue isn’t that the controller doesn’t work, it’s just not performing as expected during a specific function of this game. Is that correct? I’m a former tech support guru for companies such as Microsoft XBox and Apple so please understand how I am viewing your problem. With that said, I will be interested in how the paperclip reset works. Another troubleshooting step you can try if possible, do you know anyone who lives near you that has the game, who does not experience this issue, where you can try your controllers on their system to reproduce the issue- and also try theirs on your console?

The headset this is fairly mass scale, ie: it's not just me. It's worked for multiple people on both the 2K Forums and Reddit - and it's worked for multiple bugs (pre 1.03 and post 1.03). That's where I heard about it. I haven't had a chance to test the reset yet, hopefully I will have a chance tomorrow. Most of my friends have Xbox unfortunately haha

For those experiencing this bug, are you playing "wired" or "bluetooth"?

There is no bug unless the bug affects certain ps4 installs and not others, which is probably very unlikely

Or they have their metre turned off and have no idea they experiencing it. Literally can play 3 rounds and not have it happen once and then have it happen 15 times in a round. It's not like I'm the only one, this is on Reddit and the 2K forums as well.

No updates for a week. Been happening since last patch. It's really bad and makes putting unplayable. It used to be fixed by wearing a headset plugged into the controller, but even that seems to be having issues now. Here's a video; I 100% apologize! for the first time in 50sih rounds I saw your issue as it happened to me on one hole. Very jerky and once I COULD putt my 20 footer blasted past by 20 more feet and it was not MY fault - meter off on Geiranger 4th hole.

I've got 5 controllers and they all do it. I'm hard wired to the modem and play with controllers plugged in. If the power says 50% I stop on 50 and come down. It skips to 47ish and I'm 2 foot short. It's driving me insane...

Its a slow swing mechanic. If you dont commit to pushing it thru it short stabs it. Its almost like the yips. If you deccelerate on the down swing it will move cursor to a lower percentage. You have gotta accelerate slightly and it will stop. The putt meter sucks balls makes putting silly easy!
