So do we think xbox is at a disadvantage again this year? My time is limited these days and iv only played about 15-20 rounds so far and only been under Par probably 4 times. Seeing -40 scores on ps4 makes me think we probly are which makes me sad. Im only playing the odd round here n there so my own skill level isnt much to go by but i would like to see a stream of some good rounds if anyone on ps4 is a twitcher can i have a link? Just want to see how it plays over there. TIA People say Xbox is harder again, but there was a patch on Friday I believe, so maybe that has brought things in line... who knows right now. Iβve a video on my YT channel of a round. Dave Preece the same - he posted on the You show me thread π

I played crap R1, think I was -2 or something, went on to R2 and got it to -10 but then tried a few things and before I knew it I had several bogies on my card, donβt even know where I was at score wise. Didnβt play R3 or R4. Damn itβs fun.

I hadn't played a PGA event since I got removed the one time. Lol. Maybe this game I won't get the API, but we will see. My swing lines look alot better in this game and I miss on both sides of the cone. Only time will tell. ππ

Forgot to say. I tried my ds4 wireless yesterday and low and behold tempo was shocking. Fast everytime. Played 3 holes wireless was red fast everytime. Plugged it back in and tempo was drastically improved. Has anyone else noticed hb still never fixed that crap like in 19! I've already mentioned this before, but that's due to the input lag created when using the "wired cable" instead of bluetooth. The DS4 cable only polls at 250Hz vs 1000Hz bluetooth. Obviously, 1000Hz will react much faster when the analog stick is pushed forward. Test have shown wireless has more than 3x less input lag. There's nothing for HB to fix.
Hope that helps.
edit: I just read your response below. Unfortunately that's false, and even your previous comment on DS4 "fast" prove the contrary. I'd suggest the following video which has links to other sources, including 4 in his description from other people reaching similar conclusions from their own testing:

I find wired better tho and get better feedback. I can instantly tell if its a fast or slow. Wireless doesnt matter what swing i put on it its fast! Some controllers wireless wont swing yet u plug them in they swing. I play wired on most games inc cod because i find i get less input lag and my pads are more responsive

Iβm a bit pushed for time Sean, so can you please confirm: If you plug in your controller, AND (crucially) enable USB control from the device settings menu, there is more lag than playing wireless? Sony introduced a feature that creates MORE lag by laying wired? Seems odd to me if that is truly the case, and I always play wired... find the tempo much more reliable... get the odd VF/VS wireless, and as Scott says, som pads wonβt even register a swing wireless, but work fine wired π

Don't remember what I ended up with for the tournament but I shot my first and so far only under par round on these difficulty settings in the second round, -7, including an eagle and my first albatross. Enjoyed the course.
