Welcome to Royal Phoenix Society. Here you will find a community of golfers that play on Pro settings. There are divisions that each player will be put in and will work to climb their way to the top division.
Royal Phoenix Society is a 8 week event where players compete to win their respective divisions. There will be 5 normal week tournaments and then there will be 3 final tournaments (these final tournaments are the playoffs for the season). The winners of each division will be playing in the Champions Tournament, and the rest of the field will be playing in the Redemption Tournament. The winners of each division will be placed in the Champions Tournament where they will face each other in a match play style round until there is a winner at the end of the season while the rest of the field will be competing all together in normal stroke play format in the Redemption Tournament. Each player is required to play with the same conditions as in the xbox society when playing in their matchplay match in the playoffs. Please post a screenshot of the scorecard in this forum page of your match.
Each tournament will last all week so everyone will have plenty of time to play the tournament, also there will be 2 round events for the main week tournaments and 1 round for the final tournaments.
There will be a point system for the society, the player with the most points at the end of the season is the winner of their respective division. Points for Ace, Alby, Ace-atross: An Ace will bring you 3 points, An Alby will bring you 4 points, and An Ace-atross will bring you 5 points. Weekly placement points will be 6 points for 1st place, 5 for 2nd, 4 for 3rd, 3 for 4th.
If you would like to join please put your Name, GT, and what swing difficulty you play either master or pro and also request to join the in game xbox society called Royal Phoenix Society.

Also in this society you can chip, splash, etc. on the greens 75ft and up. Just like tgc.
So here is how the matchplay will work. The winners of each division will play each other in a 1v1 matchplay match until there is a winner. The winner of the Emerald division will face the winner of the Topaz division, the winner of the Ruby division will face the winner of the Diamond division, and the winner of the Emerald vs Topaz match will face the winner of the Ruby vs Diamond match, and then the winner of that match will be crowned winner of the Champions Tournament. So for the players playing in the Champions Tournament you will only play 1 match per tournament ( hence why there is 3 tournaments ). Once you finish your match you will need to get in contact and schedule your next match. Also I need to say that you DO NOT play in the society tournament posted unless you can not schedule a match in which case you NEED TO play in the society tournament or else you will not qualify for the next match as in it will be a DQ. So please try and schedule your match or be sure to play and finish you round in the society tournament to move on.
Here is how you play and set up your match. Set up a private match on matchplay format and invite your competitor. You use the same course and settings for the match as in the scheduled society tournament ( I will post these settings every week for everyone to know ). You then play your match and the winner moves on to next weeks tournament, or if there is a tie then there are tie breakers. Start off by who won on the hardest handicap rated hole on the course scorecard, if there is still a tie then you go back from 1st hardest hole on the course all the way through to the 18th rated handicap hole on the course, if there is still a tie then it would go to alby's, then hole in ones, eagles, birdies, etc. There should not be a tie at that point but I have it there for the odd chance it would. If you tie beyond that then please contact me on xbox as I will get the message there the quickest.
For the Redemption Tournaments here is how you can advance in them.
The first tournament the cut line will be the top 15 players advance to the next tournament.
The second tournament the cut line will be the top 10 players advance to the final tournament.
The final Tournament will decide the winners of each group of master and pro groups.
