VctryLnSprts Am I allowed to participate in only the putting courses? Yes, you can participate in any events you choose to or not. The only stipulation will come at the DAM Championship where people's scores won't count unless they played enough events to qualify. |

Yeah, mini golf is not my thing, normal putting on golf courses is gonna feel like a real breeze now! +12, struck out on hole 2, got stuck thinking what to do there. Once I figured out that I need way more power, it was too late. Scored an ace on the 18th of first round, a wild thing since I couldn't see any of it! Was left really confused as to what happened there before I saw that on the scorecard! Had fun though!  Exact same thing happened to me - Hole 2 on the first attempt was a nightmare! Learned my lesson in round one, and came back to shoot -2 in round two. But the damage was already done...think I finished +5 for the event. |

The trick to #2 is extending your putting sim marker all the way to 187. Not sure why it won’t get up the hill with the default marker, but, well....HB.

Just a quick note to those who have not played yet. I got stuck twice in round 1 last night. There was one hole on the front (cant remember which) my ball must have climbed a rock and got stuck in the centerpiece. Took me two or three to get out. I actually had to chip it over the wall to get back in play. Also on 17 my ball somehow got beyond the fence behind the hole and was impossible to get it back on the correct side. Tried both putting under and chipping through the fence (for a laugh my ghost would be hilarious to play with in round one) and had to take a max. Managed to get it back to E for the event with a more conventional round 2, but a heads up that you can get stuck out there!
Fun place though!

I can't imagine the difficulty in creating one of these courses and I would fully expect that no matter how many play throughs are done and how exact the designer is, there always seems to be places where a ball may get stuck that the designer has/had no control over. Having said that, I loved this course and LabyrinthOvlord and I had a great time playing it. It is just a refreshing change and we just accepted that $hit happens in putt-putt golf and you roll with it, which makes it fun. Thanks for creating this! Bring on Adventure golf! |

Nailed it right there Koop , I would consider mayday_golf83 and I two of the more "seasoned" designers in the game based on our catalogue and tenure of time using the tools, and despite how many times these courses get playtested, we just don't see everything that could possibly happen. Similar to the camera angles in mini golf, the game just wasn't designed to do what we are doing with it. LOL I want to say a big THANK YOU to the community of players who have had a positive attitude about what can happen in mini golf events despite the feeling of getting screwed by the game or the course. It is obviously never our intention for those types of things to happen, we want you guys to have a great time in the society. (I've actually played this course many, many times on my own time just for fun, and I STILL had two things happen to me in this event that I've never had happen before, so it just is what it is). With that said, I still have more mini golf courses in the works, so I actually appreciate it when you tell me the "bad" things that happen, because it helps me to know what is "possible" in the game, and hopefully I can use that knowledge in future designs of my own. Thanks everyone! |

I got stuck on the wrong side of the same fence but yeah, its putt putt golf that happens. I ended up banking my chip off the fence on the two next door island and tried the miracle flop shot back over the fence but by that time my luck had run out and I took a max. Such a nice chance of pace.

Thanks everyone! i regret not taking a practice/ recon round- was 8 shots better in the 2nd round. the plinko-cave hole was my favorite- must've taken forever to sculpt that thing correctly  someone needs to scrape the Krazy glue off the side boards. My only fun surprise was on #16?- was up against the side board and tried to blast a putt up and over the hill down to the hole- only I had a PW and blasted a pitch shot 60y to a green 3 holes away. Luckily I was able to get up and down from afar. I'm not normally a fan of the mini-golf game play- but this mini-golf was so extremely well done! awesome! |

It would be like when you were younger trying to hit flops with the rubber putters when your ball went over the wall! |

Agreed, got stuck on the other side of the fence on 17, even though on the shot it look like it was on this side of the fence, took a shot limit. But,dang, loved it! |

No problems here apart from not hoofing it hard enough a few times on the 2nd hole, 1st round. Lesson learned for the 2nd round. A quick practice of the course may be beneficial next time!! All good fun though.

Really fun mini course. Very realistic, too!
On #8 in the first round, my ball hit a rock and hopped the wall into the walled of rough section. I just took an unplayable, dropped, and putted from there. Wasn't sure if chips were allowed anywhere else. That kept it realistic for me, as I never carry a wedge to a putt putt course...

I think this one was probably the best (and more difficult) mini golf courses I've played on DAM. I loved that it was really hard but also very beatable if you played it a few times. I typically prefer the adventure golf and par courses but this week was fun for sure. It's DAM good to have this society back Eric. Thankyou.

Wow mini golf really is not as easy in this game as it was in the last game  . I unfortunately only made it like 5 or 6 holes before my frustration got the better of me. On the 2nd hole I think I put 5 into the water lol. Have fun guys see you next week! |
