sandsaver01 Forgiveness and swing plane? I scoff at both!
Forgiveness is bypassed by swinging for fasts, and the swing plane in 2K21 is more lenient if you're within that large grey area. Below, I'm using the most unforgiving driver in the game, trying to hit wonky swings, and ensuring every shot is an overswing with maximum penalties applied. How do things work out?

Yeah I don’t see swing plane as much of a problem it’s very rare i’m out of that grey zone. Now forgiveness that’s a different matter, it’s ok if you can reproduce your fast swing or slow swing to order but not if your trying to hit the ball straight. The strange thing is I tried the legendary difficulty and hit no more poor swings than I do on pro which I play all the time but we know the game plays different on the practice range. My biggest problem is the putting I’ve lost all the feel for it especially the long putts.

I usually support you Sean, but you are beginning to pi$$ me off. You do not yet understand how much easier the game is for you than me, and I am tired of being told what is important for us scrubs by PGA caliber players.

sandsaver01 I'm confused. Why are you pissed off because I'm offering my advice and tips to people interested in hitting the ball more consistently? There's 2 other videos on my youtube, both of which offer my recommendations and an alternative to playing the one way miss. Just look at the safety net a wider range fast gives you, and for a small fairway to boot. Anyways, sorry I offended you. Best wishes for ya man. Don't know what else to tell ya.

Yes, I think playing for and allowing for fasts is the only way to go for me, as a fast is my natural swing. It will mean mapping clubs playing for a fast, though I suppose I could workout how much extra distance each club gives me and map with perfects. I haven't mapped anything as the tempo on Xbox usually puts any calculations straight out of the window as soon as I hit the ball. Possibly a fairly consistent fast is attainable. I've started experimenting with fades and draws too, anything to keep the ball going somewhere near where I want it.

Time for designers to start laying out tour courses with more right angled doglegs and the fairways sloped right to left. Then on other holes slope the fairway left to right so the hooked drive doesn't get as much roll out.

The same thing happened with 2019 first came out and the perfect/fast downswing gave everyone more yardage while the perfect/slow took away yardage. Suddenly everyone was playing for the fast. Hb eventually changed it to a perfect/slow gave the same distance as a perfect/fast.

I don’t see a significant advantage to using the hybrids in this game Mike the irons get a better lie percentage in the rough. In 2019 the hybrids had less rollout which is why I used them but I’m not sure if they do in this game. I’m also in the rough more than fairway now so no point carrying them for the reason stated at the start.
Here's a Hybrid Test video I made a few days ago:
How are the hybrids out of fairway bunkers? I'm seeing a better lie percentage than irons.

I'm seeing the same that Hybrids are better out of the sand they also seem to be more forgiving in most cases than similar irons, but they can't stop worth a damn and are generally not as good as long Irons, imho I would only use a Hybrid to cover a yardage gap that I can't cover any other way. just my 2 cent's.

I presume everyone is aware that you can use 4 iron to LW from one set of clubs AND use the 3 iron from a different set
As you were.

Thanks Mike, that makes sense. Btw, your course Amaroo Bay is probably the best course I have played on TGC, simply spectacular.
