lol i think anyone who comments "oh what could have been" means that the course has done it's job The course was difficult but fair over all. I think there was one hole that consistently reported more yardage than what the shot actually called for. I figured it out in the end. My "oh what could have been" was my own putting woes

R1: 61 (-10)
That first round was pretty okay, and fortunately better than my practice rounds. I missed a few easier putts (especially those two eagle opportunities on the Par 5's), that sucks. But I never ran into the danger of making a bogey somewhere. Solid, unspectacular golf!
R2: 62 (-9)
God damn it... that second round was nerve-stretching. Started it with Birdie-Birdie, but suddenly almost everything went wrong. After Hole #14 I was at -3... went away from my Playstation, got me a fresh cup of coffee, smoked a cigarette... went back and started to rescue the round with an Eagle-Birdie-Eagle-Birdie-Finish! Lucky me!
So I'm at -19 right now, hoping this is good enough for making the cut once again! Wish I could score below 60 on that course, but -10 seems to be the limit for me here. Still I do like the course, no doubt about that!

This is what playing lengua del diablo looks like playing with the wind...7-12 mph throughout but it did drop to 4mph on the last hole...had me cursing and cheering thru out....the best way to play this game, really enjoyed the round, hit a 64 previous round in same conditions, but the difference here were the 3 eagles even though i took a 6 on one par 5 the classic case of what could have been!

Judging by most of the scores in this thread, I'm pretty sure this one will be my first cut missed! Had to happen eventually!

I scored -8 going into the back nine and could only manage -4 after that...putting.. eesh.

Played this week under physical duress. My diverticulitis was acting a damn fool, (intestinal condition.) Turns out intense physical pain and prescription pain meds are not a recipe for golfing success. Actually started off quite well, -9 on the 1st round, w several missed makeable putts, and then started nx round -5 thru 7, but that's when the wheels came off. Took an innocent lil trickle into the light rough on 8, thought I could still carry it to the green, swung a lil wonky and dunked one, lead to double bogey. Managed to get a stroke back, and then on 11, (I think it was 11) w the split upper and lower fairways, caught a wicked sidehill deep rough lie on the upper side, and managed to find water again, leading to another double bogey. Absolutely no real highlights to salvage the round and limped home w a pedestrian -3. -12 is sitting at 60th as of 1pm edt on Wednesday, seriously doubt taht'll hold up to make the cut. On the bright side, my antibiotics are kicking in and starting to feel much better.

Oh, hoping someone can answer this one for me. If I shoot my 1st 2 rounds and want to see if I make the cut before shooting 3&4, can I play other rounds on other courses and still be able to come back and finish the tourney? Or would I lose my progress if I start shooting other courses?

WHen you are ready to go back to Hassan, just load up the tournament page again for that tournament and you will be able to Continue where you left off.

I haven't posted in the locker rooms for a while. I ended the tournament pretty unsatisfied with numerous missed and wasted chances. I shot 58,59,61,58 for a respectable, but not title challenging -48. I should be sat here posting about being at least ten shots better than that and speaking of my chances of winning, but hey ho, on to next week. This is an excellent course, as are most of doggz's and I expected to have a chance with the way he sets his courses up. One particular mistake saw me for some strange reason try to loft up a 7 iron on the first par three as I wasn't getting close in the first three rounds. I meant to loft up one line, but somehow went up two and ended up 15 yards short of where I was aiming and plunged into the agua! It was a tournament like that for me, too many silly mistakes which ultimately will cost me the chance of winning. I hope we get a chance to play some more tournaments on Doggz's courses. I think this score right here is the winning score at this point. My -47 missed it by >< much.

So you don't have to worry about missing the lead by one shot, I know how frustrating that is. There is at least one score better than that on PS4 at -50, apparently the leader holed out for an albatross on his final round. So I guess when that happens you are fated to win? If the winning score is -50 it will be pretty hard to swallow with the amount of chances that I wasted this week.
