Small fish in a big pond is a good one. lol No every time I think I can win an event I choke. lol I did like my chances this week Good course & playing against small fishes. Seems like the small fishes ate me alive. Some good news though looks like I'm going to get the WIN at Arnie's place against the big whales. lol Playing against small fishes??? I know overall the PGA is better, but wouldn't say the Euro is a bunch of small fish

I haven't posted in the locker rooms for a while. I ended the tournament pretty unsatisfied with numerous missed and wasted chances. I shot 58,59,61,58 for a respectable, but not title challenging -48. I should be sat here posting about being at least ten shots better than that and speaking of my chances of winning, but hey ho, on to next week.
This is an excellent course, as are most of doggz's and I expected to have a chance with the way he sets his courses up. One particular mistake saw me for some strange reason try to loft up a 7 iron on the first par three as I wasn't getting close in the first three rounds. I meant to loft up one line, but somehow went up two and ended up 15 yards short of where I was aiming and plunged into the agua! It was a tournament like that for me, too many silly mistakes which ultimately will cost me the chance of winning.
I hope we get a chance to play some more tournaments on Doggz's courses.

Feeling rather frustrated, but hey.. that's what sport is all about. I missed a 3ft eagle putt, then missed a 5ft birdie putt on the way back to eventually par the hole.. Just inconsistent playing coupled with bad decisions due to feeling the pressure.. lol .. bogeyed a few holes as well.. lipped out many, many putts.. Also feel like I'm at least 10 strokes short of what should have been..Finally ended on -46.. I'm quietly confident it may be good enough for a top 10.. I think nearly everyone will experience a bit of frustration with this course.. And yeah.. Awesome course.. really enjoyed it Would also like to see more of these

Also frustrated with my game think i shot a -12 in the 1st round swing was great missed a good few in that round should of been really low. Then round 2 and 3 quite the opposite bad judgement on approaches over aggressive eagle chips ending up in pars. 3 putt bogeys from 6 ft. For -8 then -10. Did not even deserve to shoot that. Then round 4 much the same as round 1 played great but left a 3-5 shots out there for a -13 -43 total. Played average in both follow up comps after winning on tour. Need to fix this. Hoping for a top 25 to limit the damage.

Add me to the club: I am Frustrated Incorporated©.
Started off well with a 58, despite a bogey on 14 (tee shot squirt hard into a bunker, plugged), but things began to get progressively worse. I literally lost control of the golf ball more and more on each shot. Putts started slipping away too. I salvaged 60 in R2 thanks to an eagle-birdie finish.
Putting completely failed me in R3. Lips and burns galore caused me to lose sight of the fall lines. Confidence went out the window. I rage-quit on 14 after missing 3 straight sub-10 footers on 11, 12, & 13. I think I'm at only 5-under for that round. I should have just put the controller down after R2 and came back fresh another day, but noooo, I had to try and grind it out. Big mistake.
At this point, I just want to try to get to -40. Hopefully, I can squeeze -11 out of the next 23 holes. With the way I'm going right now, that'll be a chore.

63,66,63,62..-30 total. Just below average @ best....Ball striking awfully inconsistent again n wasn't clinical enough with the putter inside 15 ft.. Made quite a number of silly avoidable bogeys as well... Positives?...made an eagle on 17th in round 1 on the short par 4 went off the back of the green in 1 n managed to get the flop in.haven't being making hardly any of those lately Especially with the chip shot.just don't hole as many as a few others do on a regular basis.made several other eagles on the par 5's but not as many as I'd have liked as found the par 5's to be accessible for eagles if good shots were incoming on approach!..had winds of between 7-11mph throughout the 4 rounds!.enjoyed this course!!..well done to the designer!! Found it to be fair while also bearing teeth if you got into bad positions.and the greens weren't easy putting wise or to hold on some holes if u didn't get distances right..a good balance I'd say this course presented as a challenge!!..good luck to those of you yet to begin or complete your tourney this week

had a nightmare rnd with my disconnect thinking i had carded -9 only to require a resume on hole 4, limped to a -2 currently breaking in a new pad and its killing me. After a breezy round 1 had calm for rnd 2 and played much better with the new pad -13 to end two contrasting rounds at -15 prob gonna miss the cut at my own course lol ( oh the shame ) glad that the course has had positive feedback, thank you!

Im not near as good as all you guys I just try to make the cut week in and week out and improve which I have, only missing one cut since week 3. After shooting from -3 to -10 in all my practice rounds I had no idea what to expect coming into this week. I love all doggz courses and hope to see more as well. I shot a dismal 65 and thought well there goes making the cut only to follow it up with a 58 so Im sitting at -19 thru 2 rounds hoping thats enough to make the cut. I was really happy with being at -19 and thought I may have a chance to finish alot better this week only to come back and shoot a 66,67 in rounds 3 and 4. So just another mediocre finish for myself, thinking that -19 should make the cut. Wish I could have rounds 3 and 4 back. Good luck to those yet to play!!!

thanks elk...kinda wish they would use buzzards reach tour edition, that can be a challenge, i'm not a fan of wide open fairway courses, most players now can hit a drive relatively straight, i like to have a little bit of fear off the tee, thats why most of my courses are on the tight side, not made a course for ages now, been too busy over at pg but i have a nice course coming along at the moment 10 holes in and i think it's a winner! challenging but fair.

Just 8 holes to go, Im sure it will not disappoint.

I think nearly everyone will experience a bit of frustration with this course.. And yeah.. Awesome course.. really enjoyed it Would also like to see more of these Oh what could have been.... Round one I was shooting okay, getting close but missed 5 or 6 easy putts I should have had. Round two my distance was way off. The only thing that saved me was I eagled two of the 3 par 5s, almost had a hole in one on #3 and chipped in about 4 or 5 birdies. Round three my distance came back a bit but my putting was on. Missed a 35 foot eagle putt on #2 having it hit the back of the hole and bounce out. #3 one inch from the cup, pared 4 and then made 4 awesome, 12-25 foot breaking birdie putts to close the back 9. Missed three other putts but a reasonable round. Round four I was back to missing putting. I had to take a break to get the wife and came back to find the wind had picked up a bit more but I still felt good after birding the first 2 and barely missing another on #3. Then I couldn't buy a putt. Thankfully I managed to get it in close on the back nine. I won't win but I"m really hoping top 5 or top 10 as this was probably the best I have played in a VERY long time. Round 1: -12 (59) Round 2: -12 (59) Round 3: -13 (58) Round 4: -10 (61) Total -47 and I finally beat Brionne!!! I must have taken 3 minutes on that putt on 18 to read, re-read it before I put it in for birdie. Fun course! It goes to show that you can have a tough course with fast greens without them needing to be hard.
