Well a 63 and a 68 is not going to get me through to the weekend. Such a frustrating course for me!! For some reason I really struggle to hit anything straight here.
In practise, the back 9 was very nice to me. In the first round proper, I was -7 after 9 and very happy, then only hit -1 for the back 9. Bunkers and rough was all I could hit.
Second round was just horrendous. A bogey and a double on the front 9. Just ARGH!!!!

Another well designed course. Looks tough though maybe give a few practice rounds

Well a 63 and a 68 is not going to get me through to the weekend. Wouldn't say that. I think the cut is going to be much higher this time then the last couple of weeks. The course is well designed, but much tougher then this or last week for example.

However, someone on XB1 had a really good first 3 rounds - hoping that's a top 10 score, and not the general rule! Finished my final 2 rounds just in case I make it, and hit a couple of 62's.

Definite missed cut for me 64-70 - 8 under total Actually played very well first round but made a couple of bogeys with some dodgy putting and missed a few other opportunities. Could have been 10 or 11. Second Round started solidly enough but found the rough off the tee a couple of times and came up short finding the water on No 7 and No 9, made a double and a triple. Had to birdie 17 & 18 just to get under par. Disappointed but not totally surprised. The course just never fit my eye for some reason. Nothing wrong with it though. Just hope it doesn't hurt my WGR enough to bump me from the Masters. That would be devastating

Tough greens and pins - great challenge. Missed so many on the low side stopped me from genuinely contending

Played my first euro event. Lengua Del Diablo one of my favorites. Was looking forward to playing this tournament. 5 practice rounds with 13 under being my best & 10 under my worst. Well tournament play didn't go as well as practice. lol Only shot 6 under in the 1st round had a double bogey to go along with a bogey during the round. Didn't have one bogey during practice rounds. Managed a nice 12 under in Rd 2. Hope 18 under makes the cut (I think it will) Shot 2 joe average rounds in Rd 3 & 4 (10 & 9) 37 under total I guess it will be okay, wished I played better. Haven't decide yet but might play a couple of more euro events. Big fan of both the Shakespeare & Happy Yeti course.

What a pitiful display of putting for my last 3 rounds. Must have missed half a dozen from inside a few feet, killing my game. Not since my teens has a controller nearly gone flying!

Or just the fact that your a small fish in a big pond over here? Lol

Small fish in a big pond is a good one. lol No every time I think I can win an event I choke. lol I did like my chances this week Good course & playing against small fishes. Seems like the small fishes ate me alive. Some good news though looks like I'm going to get the WIN at Arnie's place against the big whales. lol

I dunno what to expect this week. Ive played about 5 practice rounds here shooting anything from -2 to -10. I love the course as I do all of Canhams courses just very inconsistent here. Played in a 10mph+ wind this morn shot -9, played yest. in 5mph wind shot -3. My putting has been bad of late just hoping I find my putter when I start the tourney. Good luck guys

-19 at the cut, -34 for the tournament. Not great but should be a top 50 finish
