Well, as long as you know, then that's that then. Job sorted. Let's just draw a line under it now and not bother doing any testing at all Everyone's allowed their opinion... I don't lay any claim to being opinion king... yet. Maybe one day... I didn’t make my statement as an edict as though I shouldn’t be refuted if you read my quote I said my vote. I’m just one of many around here and I didn’t self appoint myself to make the decision. I’ll leave self appointed positions to you It's just a very staunch and firm stance you've taken there. Fed up of getting your bum tickled by PS4 users? Well, hopefully if there's an advantage it can be patched, as none of us want it to be unfair (I hope). Now don't talk in riddles fella... Self appointed [......] fill me a blank in. You've obviously got something to get off your tits.

Let me jump in here...I think spartan feels that you always weigh in on every issue with a certain hoity toity gravitas based on arrogance thinking you know everything,..but he’s too polite to outright say it. But you are in fact right in this case. Spartan is being unnecessarily judgmental.

Once I calibrated at Master I was getting a LOT of perfects, so I definitely think it’s the right decision. My main struggle is the lack of distance control bar specifically on putting. Are we getting rid of that for putting too? Once I calibrated by purposely hitting fasts, I get perfect much more often.

I assume distance control assist will also be turned off as well as the meter?

When I first started the game and saw the power meter, I thought, Oh no. It looks a lot like 3 click. But it is what it is. When I started playing, I found myself looking at the meter instead of the golfer and I was all over the lot. So, as someone suggested earlier, I just shut off the meter. Now looking at my golfer and playing more by feel, I find myself getting a lot more perfects, maybe 30% p's, and my misses aren't as bad, not too many very fast or very slow. So, it looks like the meter stays off for me. The game is much more fun anyway when I'm looking at my golfer and not at a power meter.

i think with the settings you are going to set is a big mistake average players like me on TGC 2019 will not bother i had a go on masters a bloody nightmare +12 +20 not enjoyable at all i agree some of the scores were ridiculously low on 2019 but its about getting the right balance and i don't think masters is the way still just my 2 pennies worth

Started out playing my first few rounds on Legendary with no meters, figuring that was where TGC Tours would land, and man.....that was hard. Could barely break 90. Switched to Master on the same settings and was able to shoot par at least. This game is hard and I love it.

Amazed how many people want to crack the difficulty in one day... wouldn't that be dull? Roughly a day and a half since release and I've had two rounds under par with the TGCT suggested settings and love it. Birdies are well earned, pars are when you're playing solid, but unspectacular golf and bogeys (or more) are deserved. The putting took ages to get a handle on - and I'm definitely not there yet - but this game and these settings are SO much more rewarding than TGC19. I stopped playing CC-A rounds near the end as I was bored with the birdie fests - this is shaping up to be way better.

But within 24 hours I was shooting between E and -5 with the distance/power meter off. So practice and it won’t be so bad. I was a PGA player with a WGR of 19 at one time. Now I am guessing I will be somewhere in the mid tiers. And I CANT WAIT!!!!

Once I turned off the goofy meters it was leaps better. I overswing and play fasts quite a bit. Hope I can keep it in the cone. 😂
Done a decent job so far at it.
I was experimenting with the push/pull...I know, I know...however, it doesn't seem to be there at all.
I missed out of the gray area and it looked like my dad in real life playing golf. Low ducks and screaming hosels. Yikes!
Putting seems normal now to me.
Make some and miss some.
Game is harder for sure and it's welcome!

So how close are we to deciding the settings? 3 weeks seems plenty of time to hash it out. Waiting for feedback on the feeler settings you threw out last night? Been practicing on your own swing instead of the planning for the tours? MF we need answers.
I ask because I need to start practicing...

I’ve watched and spoken to enough people I trust to know all I need to know. Besides I’m allowed to have my own opinion you don’t own the market there chief. 😉 In 2019 I’d get p/p and think nothing of it. In 2K21 I get a p/p and I’m excitedly surprised. I'd be excitedly surprised by a p/p in 2K21 too as only a /p is possible. Although on Xbox, at least for me /p is practically impossible too. And I'm not taking the /p here.
