I am about 20 hours in and get P/P about 50 p/cent of the time on Masters .. I play on a laptop with a standard mouse But I remember the struggles when 2019 came out so within time I am sure it will come Great game, very addictive, Controller users are at around 20% perfects right now on Masters in the early data I'm seeing, so if you're getting 50%, you're way way above average. I still need more data but I think mouse users should be targeting somewhere around 1 in 5 shots if you can get there.

Just went back and rewatched that video of yours. If the input is the exact same, then the exact spot of perfect should be the same each time. The fact that it isn't leads me to believe that there is some randomness that is put in or there is something like latency, input lag, dropped frames ect. It would be interesting if you had a frame counter on the screen to see what the numbers are. I cap my framerate at 60, no higher, no lower to ensure there is no dropped frames. Upper Left = Steam frame rate in the video. I turned off Vsync, and I'm getting 100+ FPS, so there shouldn't be any issues there. You'll notice on my perfect swings, the spot at the top is exactly the same every time.

I think it is the official PGA2k society. Should be the first one. I think that is the one HB is using.

You'll notice on my perfect swings, the spot at the top is exactly the same every time. 100 FPS is good. The key is that it doesn't move from that spot during the whole swing. Any drop or raise in framerate will effect the swing. That is why I have mine locked at 4k, 60fps. I don't want it ever moving from there. That is also the reason why the whole, start your swing and let it go thing was so important because it helped locking it in. Glad vsync is off.
Yes I noticed that the spot of your perfects was always the same, just like mine, always the same. I have yet to see a perfect swing with the line on the left side of center (12 o'clock) line.
I'm really thinking that the developers have made each club/set only capable of a certain range of shots when it comes to the perfect. They of course want you to play the game, buy the new clubs and earn them in sponsorships. Which makes some sense. You want the people who have put in time having a bit of an advantage over the other people with standard rental clubs.

Just want to jump in and say, I HAVE gotten 'Perfect' tempo a few times with the line being on the left/slow side of 12'0clock. At the time, I had just done a calibration intentionally taking slow shots on all ten for a slow, smooth swing. Also, since trying to hit 98-100% instead of 101%, I'm getting probably close to 50% perfect timings on Master level settings now. (1800 DPI)

(1800 DPI) Yeah, I've gotten perfect tempos on my "unassisted" swings which where all over the cone. So no worries there I think. I use a Kennsington Expert mouse (it's a trackball) and I don't have a DPI setting, I just have slow/fast cursor, and the ability to set acceleration. Where on the scale of slow/fast is 1800 DPI?

My bad by the way. There are TGCTOURS that are set up for varying future levels. Play the events in any of those, any round completed will give the admin the data they need. THX

Do you mean Doyley's society or the official PGA 2K21 society? I was wondering this also. I see Doyley's but I don't see any TGC Tour societies anywhere. I couldn't find any of the tgc tours societies until I typed 'tgc' in the search.

I have a Razer Basilisk, and it can do DPI from 100 to 20,000 if I recall.

The thing about DPI settings is you have to watch how low you go. Each TGC game has a lower limit. It usually has been 800-1000. Go lower and you'll end up failing the API for too straight of shots. Generally in TGC 2019 and I think in this game, the limit is going to need to be a little higher like at least 1200, otherwise you are flirting with some disqualifications.
The best way to tell is join the HB societies as mentioned, play the courses and ask in the API section for an API check to make sure you aren't failing. For the record I'm at 1500 right now. I tend to be a little higher than what the lower limit is to ensure if i have a really good round, I won't fail.
Question: Does anyone know the button to push when on the practice putting green, to place your ball where you want it in order to practice shots?

The Legend says it should be "E" but that is not it. This is a reportable bug.
This is a must have as who in reality practices putts over 30 feet?

There's also a problem with the space bar being both the "speed up" key and the scout key I think. I have auto follow turned off, and when I press space to speed up the shot, it drags me into the auto follow.
