With over 8 plays so far I believe +2 (Jagman) is the lowest round. Give it ago and any feedback would be greatly appreciated.. |

Nice one. I really want to play a tour of these courses, do we have a full list of entries to create a tour from? Been meaning to work my way through and create a tour on PS4. As some have suggested even par would be an achievement over that tour  ... It will be like Q school all over again |

Are we having one this year for the inaugural TGC2 US Open? Would yet another excuse for me to build a classic US open style course. These course really are the best style imo.

I messaged Dale about this on the weekend. Hoping we can do something along these lines, get some of those big name designers back working. |

I would rather participate! But I did offer to host or help as well. Unfortunately I can't just start a contest where the winning course is the U.S. Open course as I am a nobody within the TGCT power structure. |

This thread was dead 3 years ago. As far as I know, nobody has plans to do this contest. That being said, if somebody wants to see it they should host it. I will also note that it should be pretty soon if the intent is to use it in this year's Open.

There is a good quality version of Shinnecock available, pretty difficult too (at least for a bad player like me). This would seem to negate the need for such a contest.

Plus, again, not a contest Joe Average could just up and run without cooperation from admins and schedulers.
Looks like TGC 2019 is the next time we may see some sort of "Official" contest.
