I've been told there is a workaround for the society difficulty bug so I'm gonna push ahead and give this a shot.
Before we go any further is there anybody who wants to bail out now for whatever reason? Look I get it life happens and commitments change but as this is a team event and is really hard to replace people mid season I'd rather have you back out now than 2 weeks into the season because the game is frustrating. I won't judge you if you don't want to but if we get rolling and you bail I will get cranky!! I'm also doing stat research now so the sooner the better if you decide not to play.
Alright doom and gloom stuff out of the way, lets get to it. The Heaven & Hell society is officially open on PC! I set it to private so you will have to request access to join, please do so as soon as you can so I can admit you. I only really have time in the evenings to accept applications so don't fret if you apply and don't get accepted right away.
I'm going to be setting up some exhibition events over the next week and a half or so up to the start of the season on Sunday September 6th. They're going to be short in duration, 1-2 days maybe 3-4 because I need to test out the settings and make sure this actually works. Feel free to hop in and play if you so choose. None of them are required.
Lastly, and most importantly, I will in fact be setting the difficulty to different settings throughout the season. Heaven will be Pro at worst and may even drop it lower occasionally for some truly heavenly fun and Hell will be no less than Master with chance of Legendary when I'm feeling dastardly (no I won't do it more than 1-2 times......maybe). The point is I want this to be fun and different so if this isn't your cup of tea, well maybe the Unicorns and Rainbows society is the one for you!

I'd much rather play with tgc ish settings and use conditions to mimic heaven and hell than play in pro or legendary....

Yeah - stick to Masters for all rounds and vary the course conditions

I’d say just stick to Masters like the tours and just vary course conditions. Would seem like the best option imo

Ok thanks for all the input fellas. After thinking about this a little more I’m gonna go with the option to have one difficulty and use the tees and settings to make it heaven/hell.
I’ll get a picture in here for you with exact settings but it’s the TGCTours settings. Use the Master Gameplay Difficulty Preset and turn off distance control meter and distance control assist.

I'm worse with the distance control meter. Totally throws my tempo off! I'll take my chronic over swings with merely "bad" tempo (as opposed to absolutely awful) any day!
