So are you quitting or just complaining? I would never quit in a team tournament Taylor, I did not even indicate that I was. I wasn't even complaining, I was just letting everybody know I was in over my head and if I had understood how difficult this was going to be I would not have inflicted myself on poor Andre. I will certainly stay through the season and playoffs and I don't appreciate being called a quitter. Well, you didn't finish last this week. I accrued 16 strokes over par on two holes. I love this game!

Based on your post above it could’ve gone either way. I’ve seen people quit with all kinds of statements and just wanted to understand if that was your intent. Now that I know it isn’t we can all carry-on.

Heaven is the easiest round in the world - I played poorly and shot -21...... (multiple driveable par 5s etc)
Then you get to the 187's in Hell - and nearly all pins are (At best) orange. The 1st hole is just full red - not one blade of green to be seen

I support @spartan4knight doing whatever the HELL he wants in the rounds to make them polar opposites and crazy. I'll be playing today and really looking forward to Hell now that I know of this.

Nice mix this week @spartan4knight
I went 55 (-16) and 66(-5) for a -21 total
Definitely could see someone in the high 40's in the heaven round this week.

Let me preface my statements with the notion that I am not mad one bit, and I still had a lot of fun. So what I'm about to say is 100% only about my own golf game, not the setup or the conditions, which I thought were great. For whatever reason, whether in society or regular TGCT play, any time the course is a birdie fest, I can't hack it. I started R1 with an albatross chip that almost went in, tapped in for eagle, and thought I was well on my way to a good round, but then when I don't birdie or eagle holes I think I should, I start pressing. I was -9 thru 12 and then disaster struck when I hit several into the water on the short par 5 on the back and had to keep going back to the tee to drop. I totally screwed the whole round and finished just -7, which will obviously be dam near last place. Now, I tend to do really well in difficult conditions, so I was excited about the Hell round and maybe just doing something reasonable, but maybe it was stress or maybe I was still pressing too hard, but after starting E thru 4, I just kept making poor swings and putting myself in terrible positions, and I was a total wreck, coming in at +7. Yup, if you're scoring at home that's -7, +7 for E par total, and a total disgrace to my partner catcherman22. But I repeat, this was exactly what H&H is meant to be and I loved the setup. The fact that I suck is not a referendum on the society one bit. You have defeated me @spartan4knight, kudos sir!

Been busy of late and haven’t been able to add much commentary here but wanted to chime in and say that I appreciate those of you who see the society for what it is and enjoy the wild swings in setup and challenge. Beginning with the name of the society I hide nothing about my intentions.
In the four or five seasons of running this I found that I learn more about my golf game and I find new creative ways to score well by playing super easy set ups and then turning around and playing super difficult set ups week in and week out.
For those of you that are enjoying the season and having fun thank you for playing and enjoying it. For those of you who maybe find yourselves regretting playing or wishing you had not signed up I’m sorry that it’s not what you were looking for but I hope you’ll finish strong end maybe find a few enjoyable holes while you’re at it. 😉

In at -16. Had one really annoying quad in the Hell round where I got two very fasts with water down the left followed by a very slow. Other than that, really pleased with how I played in both rounds. As rob4590 mentioned earlier, the difference between the two rounds was just hilarious. @spartan4knight - I can see why the Hell round could be a bit much for some, but I absolutely loved it. Definitely making me a better player trying to consider this sort of wind and break.
