Week 3 is in the books (thank god!) No surprise here as Loveskud and ABU_Bear take home another win this week. Can they keep the momentum going and will they perform this well when it matters in the playoffs!?! Here are all the details:

Great work toddfather for killing it over those two rounds! Thanks Ben! Team game man! But damn I feel I should be playing better at these heaven rounds. Being so close to the green sometimes makes it "hell" for me.

Should be a much better setup this week as there’s almost 600 yards difference from front to back tees and conditions to make it really enjoyable for Heaven at least 😉

Sadly I have to apologize for my result this week though Think I ended -7, +7...

I began -2 through 2 holes in heaven, off to a good start, and then I only finished the round -3. I am struggling with this swing immensely. I tried my ass off in the hell round and was actually E through 15 holes, then found water 4 times in the final 3 holes to shoot 79.
I'll say this as well, and this has nothing to do with Taylor or this society in particular, but I think due to the variance of skill levels this game is producing, I am losing a lot of interest in being in societies. Every leaderboard is the same exact people just absolutely kicking ass, and before teeing off there's almost no point.

I joined this Society because Taylor seemed like he would do a good job of pairing people up to even out the teams. I think in retrospect that was a difficult ask because of the change in the game - some folks who were very good in TGC2019 have not found it yet and others have. I think next season will be more indicative of how well people really play.

I could care less about winning. I'm here because the round to round variety is hilarious. Of course there are guys better than me, who cares? Maybe there'll be a week that Curtis kicks ass and I don't totally drag him down and we win. Great if so, but I'm not gonna be fussed if it doesn't happen.
Feel like the pairs are pretty good tbh - Loveskud has just got this game nailed and Phlyer, for all his ranting and raving, is actually damn good as well. Good on them.

It's not about winning, I never said that. I've never been great at this game to consider being the best or winning on a high level, so that is completely outside of the point. But as always on these forums, people just want to have rebuttals, they don't actually want to acknowledge anybody's point of view. I never said there was anything wrong with this society, and the reason I joined it was because I love the H&H concept and differences between the two rounds. Taylor does a great job with that. There's a wide margin between winning and getting your ass kicked every week though, and that's what I'm getting in all societies, so THAT was my only point.

Not sure what you want me to say. My comment is about my thoughts but also... it's a forum - reacting to each other's posts is literally the point of the site. I can see your point of view, yet I have my own opinion, so I've posted that.

No worries, I didn't say your thoughts weren't valid, but when you open with the "who cares?" it basically tells the other person exactly that.
