Man, I'm tired. Great contest all and it's certainly the most fun one I've been involved with. Any feedback on how the thing was run or changes you might like for next year, do pop them my way, as I'm keen to see this contest get better and better. It'll always be a team-based contest though and one where we want the focus being on people helping each other get better. I think we saw that big time this contest. In such a crap time over the last six months, it's been great to see that camaraderie and friendly rivalry come through and can't thank ryanmcconnell and gamesdecent for carrying this thing. Both nailed captaincy and gutted one of you had to lose out. Judging hat on, I'll be trying to send out notes over the next week or so and I intend to get feedback to everyone (unless you specifically want NOT to have it. Definitely asked that before myself lol). Field was absolutely stacked and can't wait to see where you all go next. Unless it's World Cup, in which case I hope you all crash and burn.

As I said it was great thanks to everyone.
Only feedback I have is remove the 3 point captain match. Not because it was the deciding factor to our demise but because in a contest like DT you will never ever have anything other than a close finish. That’s the nature of a draft drawn contest and 3 points will decide it in nearly all cases in my opinion. Next year dump it.

That was fun, guys. Congrats to team red. You guys came out with some killer courses and it was great to see the quality of courses from both teams. The team aspect of this contest made it my favorite experience by far. Can't wait to do it next year.
And if anyone is still taking memes too personally, they were all Wes.

Congratulations to the red team! To all the designers, there were no bad courses in this contest. All of the courses in this contest were very good. Yes, there were a handful of elite courses, but top to bottom, this was a very strong field.
If anyone wants my personal notes on his own course, PM me and I'm happy to share my judging thoughts. I didn't judge every course, but I did judge about 20 of them.
Again, great job everyone!

Thank you to all involved what a contest, hope everyone had a great time in this years DT season 7 and enjoyed the changes made by b101 which took the contest to a whole new level. Want to give VctryLnSprts a shout for helping DT get off the ground last year, pitched the idea to him and without his help would not be where we are this year. Our captains ryanmcconnell and gamesdecent what else to say, you both killed it with the hilarious content and teams you fellas drafted we're both top notch. The quality of courses may never be topped my goodness we are a bunch of badasses at virtual designing at this point. Judges, pheewww judges had a tall task and a whole new format never seen before on TGCTours, they handled everything with class and put so much effort/time into each course/matchup. All around the board, can't thank you guys enough for making this contest one most of us will never forget. See you all next year, next question.

I'm surprised ryanmcconnell made it out of bed today. That was an amazing awards show last night and, as somebody that watched and prognosticated from the sidelines, it was an absolute blast to watch over the past few months. More importantly, it took the quality of course designs to a new level which will benefit us all in the long run.

As a person who simply had the pleasure of playing these courses, I've got a few things to say. Firstly, congrats Red Team! Due to UK times I had to watch Ryno's stream on replay and I honestly thought Babylon was gonna snatch it for the Blues. Two great sides though. Secondly, thanks to the 33 designers who published courses - you made some absolute belters (and I think Lost Preserve might be my favourite course ever) and gave us a wealth of cool ideas and some seriously clever designs. To the captains, you were great - your courses were fantastic and watching the wealth of posts in this thread from you (and your fellow competitors) was very entertaining. Also, mattyfromcanada's Bingo was a work of art. Lastly, congratulations on the new baby Ben! Thank you all - this was very entertaining to watch and I don't honestly know how the quality of the courses produced could get better.

You forgot about the community, which as we know, is undefeated, and the true winner here. As a member of said "community" there was a lot of inspirational ideas that came out of this competition that I think upped the quality of future courses permanently. I learned a lot just simply by playing these courses and I know for a fact that even as a bystander my course design skills improved thanks to this!

I was lucky enough to step into the live video last night right at the last matchup and hearing Petty yell "WHAAAAAAAAAT" absolutely had me dying. I ended up watching the full VOD this afternoon and it was just as entertaining. I tended to agree with most of the results as well.
Fantastic job everyone and great competition. The courses put out in this competition were some of the best I've ever seen, and a couple that are at the top of my board for best in the game.
Is there going to be any follow up judging for things like "Best Par 3, 4, 5, Best Opening/Closing hole, Best Clubhouse, etc?"
