Seriously guys... I'm having a rough go with a bunch of things in life, and the DT deadline is the only one I can drop. Please, let's try to keep things civil and direct playful banter elsewhere for a little while. Yeah man, real life comes first. I think we can all agree that in the grand scheme of things, design contests in online forums don't mean anything. Anyway, thought you said in stream you were going to finish so I was just busting your hump. |

I was trying my best, but I just couldn't push through a lack of ideas for a few spots in combination with a spotty drive in time for the looming deadline.
In the end, what happened is really similar to what made me withdraw from judging WCoD earlier this year.

I think I've played all of the released courses so far and WOW, JUST WOW! The judging will be difficult and this could come down to a single blade of grass out of place or a bridge that's not sunken to turf level or it could turn out to be a tie.
BTW, what happens if this ends in a tie? Do the captains play a four hole sudden death on one of the courses that's randomly drawn? Great job by all the designers of the released courses so far and you've inspired me in my journey to building courses!

Can promise it won’t come down to bridges not being perfectly sunk or blades of grass not aligned - that’s the worst type of judging 🙂. If it’s ties, it comes down to which courses we feel executed their required elements better. |
