A couple of clarifications on the newer elements after JC and I discussed some of the specifics - I'll update the rules/information page as well: - Four greens within 200 yards: Measure from near side of each green and measure to each of the other three greens. Maximum of 200 yards between every green (see measure tool example below) - 1000x1000/800x1200 etc. yard plot. Set your perimeter early (again, see below). If you have a spare 100x100 yard box, you are NOT allowed to append that somewhere else - part of the challenge is working within a square/rectangular area and planning that in advance. Everything that is part of the course: every single playable surface, driving range (if you choose to have one), cart path, tee box must be contained within that 1000x1000 grid. However, planting can be outside of it. Think about it as the land that the course owns and is allowed to build on; nature could exist outside of that.  |
