This is everything Tosatsuyagi should've been. Big shouts to golfwolfuk for basically taking the Tosatsuyagi Park file and "making it look like Frankston". That's essentially all the guidance he got other than some measure tool areas for where waste bunkers should go, and after seeing how damn good it looked after he got a few holes in I decided I had to hunker down and get serious too. I sent the file to b101 and we went through and critiqued the entire 18,and decided on the weakest holes, after which I re-did 4-5 holes entirely. But for the most part, it's Tosatsuyagi's playability, with expert eye candy planting - or basically exactly what the course should've been when I started it.

Loved the original, which is a far better course than I think a lot of people realise, but this one's even better and those redone holes came out really nicely. So many great looks (1/10 and 17 are dynamite) and I spent a good minute just circling around from the first green counting the number of holes I could see from that one spot. Also, with the new 4th and 5th, this might be my favourite opening stretches in the game. Not a weak hole among them. Always envied how many Petty courses look effortless and natural with the surfacing and adding that environment in... phew. Gotta say golfwolfuk is the top planter in the design community for me right now - staggers me how well you create environments and cannot wait for your next. You two are a damn good combination.

I'm not one to count plays but... 102 plays... 100 more than I’d expect.

The lighting was dope, and offered those great moments where the sun breaks through for a shot or two. The planting was on point, and the layout was fun and engaging. The only thing keeping this from getting thousands of plays is a lack of shameless self-promotion. So, get out there and humble-brag the sh*t out of this gem.

Lovely track. 102 plays? Scandalous. I dunno, maybe not enough 'eye candy' for the kids or somethin'.......

golfwolfuk mentioned this course on my stream the other night so I thought I'd pop over and give it a whirl. Great looking course and definitely has that Frankston vibe with the Tosatsuyagi layout. I like the extended green fringes which add an extra dimension as over hit shots may run that bit further. Nice to see the car park being used although I noticed there were no green cars.

Gave this one a go late last night true sim style with range distance only. Was very happy with a 2 under par round, a 156 yard hole in eagle helped, can't remember if it was hole 4 or 5. Anywho, great course and yeah surprised not a lot of plays, think it was at 107 yesterday.

I played the first 9 holes here last night and wow, instant classic. The new aesthetic with the natural sandy areas and extra planting is really impressive. This and Frankston are by far the best representation of a sandbelt course in this game. I got tons of PK vibes while playing, that's for sure. And don't worry about the plays, Windstone is a finalist in the CC contest and last time I checked it barely had 500 plays haha

Of the 4 or 5 Sandbelt courses played over the weekend this had the most authentic feel. Well done! Having grown up and now living back in the Sandbelt area IMO to capture that authenticity it's about the bunkering, the colouring of the grasses esp. the "burnt" rough and the wide expensive fairways.

I forgot to add the odd waste bunker (which can be overdone in certain circumstances) and the heath are also essential for a Sandbelt course.

This is amazing!
Getting a mix of vibes including parts of PK North and South, Victoria, and Kingston Heath all rolled into one course!
