-10 round 2, wasn't playing all that well until a chip in eagle on 9 gave me a little momentum and I kept it up until the crazy pin position on 18 where I left myself 15 feet short of the hole and i couldnt stop it anywhere near and 3 putted.
Still 36 great holes for me at -24 and I am looking forward to finishing up later this week.

My bad guys. Do not go pin hunting on 16 in rounds 3 or 4. Play it to the center and carefully 2 putt back. Appreciate if you could post this advice in you society message boards. Like we said on Friday night alt, don't let this discourage you for one second that this was a fantastic course.

I managed a -10 in Rd 1. The highlight was a 54ft putt for eagle on #3.

I feel like you have to hit some real quality long irons out there, and obviously putt well too.

After writing the above and reading about hole 16, I couldn't resist to give round 3 a try. I can confirm that one path to bogey on 16 is as follows: 1. Get into the bunker on the right hand side by means of a very slow downswing. 2. Land the flop shot to the left of the pin by underestimating the lie in the bunker and let the ball roll down, off the green. 3. Using another flop shot, hit the flag in such a way (and now comes the tricky part) that the ball comes to rest immediately at 2 ft from the pin. 4. Sink the short putt, not worrying about the yellow slope. Feel free to replicate. Cheers. Birdie it on round 3 and felt pretty damn good about myself. Tried to do it on the 4th and need 2 fantastic putts to save par

Finished the week on -26. Not the best start after a couple of holiday weeks...

Another-10 in Rd 2. No real issues here other than my approach to #18. I had 153y, 23ft downhill into a 10/11 mph SW wind. This was from an uphill lie. I hit a lofted 8i and the shot went 20y passed the flag. Luckily, I got up and down.

-8 first round for me, which included three (!) bogeys and two missed putts from 1 meter; that could so easily have been a great round... if I could putt! ππππ

Another -7 to finish the week at -26, matching tore's score. I'm pretty happy after that slow start. Still, I couldn't figure out the back 9. 8 pars and a lonely lucky flop-in eagle on 17. Good luck to all still on the course!

Rd 1: -5 Rd 2: -7
Rd 3: -4 Really felt like i was playing well but just couldn't make any putts. I would say on average i was putting for birdie from 8-12 feet and just couldn't get anything to fall. Felt like i was putting well but just sliding it by both sides of the hole. I guess -4 wasn't so bad considering i got a triple on 16
Rd 4: -11 Decided to power through since i was striking the ball well and this time the putter got on track a little and was cruising until 16 again where i managed to at least get a double. -15 the last 2 rounds with a +5 on one crazy hole is good for me. Finished the tourney at -27
I really like the course and for the life of me i can't seem to find why i struggled so bad other than just not finding a groove putting. I felt like i played way better than i scored...i'm typically a bad putter but i felt like i was really putting well just couldn't get them to fall.

I feel like on this course you are going to find yourself a ton of 8-12 foot birdie putts that break at least 8 inches, especially with where the pins are (at least in the first 2 rounds).

Finished -9 -8 for -41 total.
Was playing well both rounds but a few costly mistakes ruined it for me.. Played the last 5 holes of the event +1 because of a few dumb shots, and the 16th hole.
Oh well, really loved the course, a couple of pin positions really killed it for me when I felt like I hit quality shots, only to end up running off a ledge, or off the green and into heavy rough in the case of 16. I even tried to play for the middle of the green but when the front half is a false front and the back half slopes away theres not much you can do. But besides that really a great course that I enjoyed.
A few great rounds on the PS4 leaderboard right now. I am just hoping for a top 10 at this rate. See you all next week

I enjoyed playing this course last night, -8 1st round then a -10 in 2nd round, I might well make a cut. Fingers crossed!!
However I will not get carried away with myself and play rounds 3 & 4 until I'm sure of it.
