For potential legal reasons I can not give the name of this week’s designer. Having the name of the designer as public information could in the future lead to the his arrest so this week I have to use a fake name while introducing the course, so if I change the R in Robert to a B and the S in Snively to a K we should be good to go. So welcome everyone to this weeks course, Blackfoot Hills Reserve by Bobert Knively also known as the NIGHTS7ALKEREver since he was a kid, Bobert loved bad guys, while watching tv, he would cheer on the villains, hoping that this week would be the week that Wile E. Coyote would finally catch the road runner, that those meddling kids would fail to stop the costumed ghost but he was forever disappointed and left heartbroken. One day, he said to himself, I will become the villain and no one will be able to stop me. Bobert grew up in a loving, happy home, surrounded by friends and family, this did make becoming a criminal mastermind difficult for him, but he was determined that one day that everyone would know who he was, well not his real name of course or he would be caught, hence the fake name used on this introduction. Bobert spent his teenage years planning on what sort of criminal mastermind he would be, he wanted something original, something that was not done before, something that would get him a Netflix true crime documentary series. This was not a easy task, bank robbery has been done to death, there were so many African princes that it seemed they outnumbered the normal people there. Sophisticated jewel heists were just downright dull and scamming a casino was becoming a cliche. No he needed something that was never done before, the while watching the US masters, it came to him, golf, a sport played by the wealthy so he would not be taking from the poor, a gentleman’s sport so no one would ever expect that their day out was going to turn into a nightmare. All he needed was a plan and a name Over the next few years Bobert plan started to come together, he would build an exclusive golf course, charge ridiculously high membership and green fees. Sell overpriced golf apparel made in Asian sweatshops, attract the right sort of people by not allowing women and minorities become members so only the richest of rich white men would play his course. Bobert trained himself to be a master of disguise, making a number of different costumes to spy on the people playing his course, he would dress up as a bush so he could hide in the heavy rough and listen to golfer conversations , he made a squirrel costume so he could sit high in the trees and study any potential victims. He would learn their moments and weaknesses , more importantly he would learn who was the richest, then when darkness fell he would strike, NIGHTS7ALKER was born.( I never said Bobert was smart). With the fatal flaw of people not playing golf at night, Boberts dreams came crashing down. He was forced to open the course to others to cover the cost, and that’s where I stepped in, getting a fantastic deal at a discounted rate to host this weeks event, a discount that I shall not pass on to Korn Ferry members and making me a fortune. So good luck all, it might be best not to hang around the course once your finished your rounds, you know, just in case of a run in with the NIGHTS7ALKER.

I've got a bit of previous with this course too, having played matchplay on it against the designer NIGHTS7ALKER the week he released it. Very happy to see you removed those advertising boards I got stuck behind Rob (sorry, I mean Bobert), ha ha 😂! It's a fun course which I would very much like to play 4 rounds on. It's been a while since I made 2 cuts in a row, but I've made a decent start here. It wasn't without its trials, I missed a 5 foot birdie putt on the first hole which almost saw the controller fly through the window, and then after I'd recovered with a good string of birdies I 3-putted from 12 feet on 8 for my only bogey of the round. Apart from those two holes I putted pretty well for a change, especially making a couple of twitchy par putts on the few occasions I'd got myself in trouble. A very decent -12 60 to kick off with. Good luck all! Driver is not always the club off the tee on this one.

Quiet around here this week! Played rounds 2 and 3 and did not have the company of the magic tempo fairy that I had in the first round. Started with 3 pars and a bogey in both rounds, and a second bogey in round 3 had me +2 at one point. It was a battle out there! But sometimes the battle is a bit of a grind and sometimes I really enjoy it, depends on the course. I enjoyed the battle on this one.
60, 65, 67 to sit at -24 thru 3.
Very confident -19 makes the cut (happy days!), I think the cut will be around -14/15/16. I won't be any danger to the leaders but a good last round might see me sneak a top 20/25.

Playing some rounds tonight hoping they're better than my practice round 😬

Welp, that was a wild ride of a round one.
Started super hot with birdies on five of the first six. Eagle on 7 followed by a awful bogey on 8 but recovered with a birdie on 9.
-7 front nine lead me into the back 9.
Birdie on 10.
Short par 4 11th, I was just trying to pitch it up to the green hoping it wouldn't roll out too far....hole out eagle!
Sweet.
12th rolls around and I had a down hill approach around 170 yds.
I made a last second adjustment as the green break was playing a bit too far to the right on my original aim marker.
I fire it perfectly right into the hole for back to back eagles.
I must have been mentally exhausted after that sequence because I missed out on a golden opportunity to take the lead through 1 Rd.
Could only manage one bird on the last six holes to put me at -13 for the round.
No complaints here 😁

Hope everyone is enjoying the course, I want to thank HMammoth for the write up, I had a good chuckle on the creativity of it. Also want to thank him for choosing my course to be a stop on the Korn Ferry Tour. It's quite an honor. I'll be stopping by periodically to see what people are saying about their rounds. Continued success to all playing it!!!

Tempo is just bad. Was five under after five and then the issues started. Played even all the rest of the way out. Sad. The course is top notch. My game; not so much. Maybe round 2 will hold some magic. If not, I’ve gassed up the Winnebago. 😏

Started off very well. Then a really stupid and bad chip on 8 leads to a bogey. More stupid play on 9 leads to a par but still managed a -10. Round 2 was one of those rounds that just felt slightly off. Made some shots but feel like I left a couple out there (when can you not say that) and only got a -6. I think -16 makes the cut but I'll be nervous. I went ahead and played R3 and R4 tonight because I do think -16 gets in and glad I did. Went ahead and shot -37 for the whole tournament and feel great about it. Last two rounds were good and even worked through 2 VF swings to save par. I'm back to where I was a few weeks ago with one round really costing me in the tournament. I do think -37 is a top 25 and could be in a real solid position overall. This course is nice! Well done NIGHTS7ALKER! And the course is set up well for the tournament. I feel you can score on this course but there are a few holes that you must play for par. Gives a nice challenge. I've said this before and it holds true on this course but the best shots off the tee require some left/right movement. I love that feature. You made a course that if you dont keep your focus, a tree or a bunker or even a landing area can give you trouble. So great job. Fun event. And be proud of yourself for making a great course. My only disappointment is that with some player movement this board has been a little less talkative over the past few weeks. All those players always contributed to making this tour the best in the game. Thankfully some are still here and active and we are starting to see more new names post each week. So hopefully more banter this week and I hope in the new game I find myself with these same players on tour!

I've had to get a new hard drive for my Xbox and was worried I wouldn't be able to finish the event, but thankfully I've got it back within 24 hours. Stinks of cigarettes but apart from that good to go! Round 4 after work tonight all being well. Don't think I'll be touching some of the very good scores posted here but -32 looks an achievable target. Good to see the course getting some favourable feedback, Xbox designers rock!

Hmmm. I could have sworn I had a -5. Actually it’s a 6. Who hoo. Only need 9 to have a chance for the weekend.. Did the golf gods throw me a bone or was I just too tired when I played round one. And by tired I mean not sober. Lol.

Lol, well done Bill! Good job you got that Bo because the cutline has shot up much more than usual. -14 was 45th yesterday, looks a goner already today. Even -15 isn't 100% safe. You're good for the weekend though I've played round 4. Hit some nice approaches and gave myself an awful lot of chances but missed a few more of them than I would have liked. Particularly over the first 6 holes, think I had a good chance on all 6 and only -2 to show for it. But I can't complain, bogey free final round and a pretty solid week on what was a very fun course in fair conditions. This game is enjoyable when you put all those ingredients together 60, 65, 67, 63 for a -33 total. Seem to have found a bit of confidence in this controller just in time for the playoffs, hope it lasts. Shame last week's super inflated prize fund has skewed the money list or I would have been well inside the top 50, I'll just have to keep making cuts.
