4 straight up... 1 I find particularly interesting...
2 of the first timers from last week have been struck off again, and not the Euro hopefuls... Said it last week and I'll say it again, very surprised at one of them... It is odd that both have gone all season until the last 2 weeks without hitch and now Bang-Bang. Aussie and Canadian on 2 a piece now.
Jason Nicholls up to 5.
Now for the odd one... 4 Dq's in a row near the end of last season then didn't play till the Peru Open this season, and was promptly and unsurprisingly DQ'd... Then didn't play again until the John Deere and finished 32nd - I thought my eyes were deceiving me, as it seemed that the guy had just stopped playing altogether. One week later and he plays again, this time in The Open, and miraculously, he finishes 11th!! Incredible! Back from the brink of near extinction to exorcise his FPP ghosts... A true story of sporting wonder, against all odds!! Magic Stuff! Anyway, he's been DQ'd again this week, so make your own minds up on Mr Morrison. Would love to hear his account of it all, depending on which account he's using.

58 in R3 to get to -44 through three.
Similiar round to Round 2 but made a couple more putts.
Physically incapable of having perfect tempo reliably for 18 holes so i'll never quite be able to pull off the scores needed to genuinely contend on a course like this (or any course, as it happens)

Got to even par in the 1st round, but man was it a struggle. 16 pars, 1 bogey on the front 9, but was able to close with a birdie on 18 to get to even. This course is ridiculous. Some of these par 3s are over 450 yards. And don't get me started on the par 2s.
(Truthfully I love this course and is a great, fun, change of pace. very happy with the choices lately, and the variety).

Sucks that I actually made a cut in a major and then have your 4th round pulled. And it wasn’t even a good round at that.

60 to finish for -56.
Kept hitting fast downswings this time. Odd.
Be lucky to get a Top 25 with that i suspect....

R3 = -17 R4 = -15
Happy enough with the scoring to finish -63. Fun to have a low-scoring event, different kind of pressure when you need to birdie every hole.
Couple of silly mistakes in R4, parred the short 7th after a shite pitch (slow ds), and smashed a downhill 7' through the break on 16.
Anyone else have random tempo issues in this event? Society event after this had no issues so no idea what was going on.

Well there it is, my first pull from this society. Not all that surprised as the new controller is making the swing far too easy. I'm sure the analogue stick will loosen up after a while. Thought I might be pulled last week (new controllers first outing) even though I was lucky to make the cut. This week was R1 -19, R2 -14 and could easily have been 6 shots better. So I'll smash a few hundred balls on the range before next week and hopefully that loosens up the stick. If that doesn't work then I'm in DQ city for the foreseeable future. No way I'm lashing out on more controllers at 55 quid a pop.
