Thought the course and setup was excellent. The tournament features and crowds were amazing and made it feel as if it was a major. Unfortunately my swing didn't show up so I only got 2 rounds for real - finished off the last two today because I enjoyed it so much. Great job on the course guys!

Sitting at -17 after two rounds which I'm happy with. Made a couple bad shots and decisions that cost me a couple strokes. Hoping to keep up the good play for the last two rounds. Course is tough, but not unfair at all. Someone will be in the -20's after two if they can play SMART and get consistent.

I played this week because it was The Open, hadn’t played the game for a week or so and hadn’t practiced at all so that probably cost me. Loaded up and played two rounds back to back. Swing just wasn’t there, way too many poor shots and a missed cut. No complaints about the course or set up, I’m just really struggling with my enjoyment of this game just now, maybe 2K21 being so near is a factor. Anyways best of luck everyone.

We won't talk about my first round..
Clearly the course sucks, the conditions suck, and the scheduler is an idiot with no tempo.

-15 through two.
R1 - started well, missed an easy putt @ 9 and then totally bungled the Back 9. Lost the swing and had 3 Bogies. Two from attempting bump and runs, one came up short, one went long. Should have flopped . 66 in the end.
R2 - pretty much perfect. Had to get up and down @ 18 but carded 11 birdies for a 59.
Finish up tomorrow

My first mid-round WD in my career. That’s all I have to say about this setup. Next.

I'll try to get this one in, but we just got word that Ontario is allowing us to open on Friday and there is a LOT of work to do between now and then, tho I don't think we'll make it. I do want to get things ready for the next weekend at the latest.
Good luck all in the final major.

36 holes of madness and out of it hopefully. A mind bending level par in R1. Good shots, bad shots, no difference in the end result. R2 8 under, don't know how, felt the same as R1 although I may have had one good bounce somewhere along the way. Anyway, new controller, stick's a bit too forgiving at the moment so wouldn't be surprised if i get pulled by the API. Either way I'm out.

2 bogeys in rd 1, eagled 17 to finish -2. Bogey free rd 2, -6. Course was nice to play, beyond my pay grade , Wife's 2nd rd of chemo today, so more important things and all that. Well played all those who have finished, good luck to those yet to start/finish, play well.

I've always cried a little on the inside when we get to the Open here because we don't replicate the meaningful drop-off in green speeds that makes Open courses so unique to regular events IRL. That said, I understand why we don't do that, and am not standing on my soap box declaring it a travesty or anything, it's just one of the most unique elements to an IRL Open that I love watching and wish there was a better way to implement in this game - though I do think it's possible to do by increasing severity of slope along with slower default speed, allowing for use of 144, default (somewhere between 144-163), and 163 for a "fast/burnt out" round...but we don't see many designs like that, which is something I understand, but would love to see more of instead of 90% of courses designed to play 175+ speeds. OK, stepping down now... Played 10 or 11 holes of practice yesterday halfway paying attention, and it's definitely going to be a challenge, but I really love links golf so I'm looking forward to the 1-off course style we get to play this week, not to mention this course itself seems to be a really well thought-out design (note: reserve the right to completely reverse that opinion after my forthcoming over-par front 9 in round 1 lol). GL to all, here's to me not ejecting at some point in the first 2 rounds so I can make it to the weekend. I understand everything you're saying here and it's all very logical but I told Ben from the start that I wasn't willing to design greens at any speed under 170, that's just my personal preference for how slow i'll go for green speeds. I find anything under 170, regardless of green slope, just quite dull for the most part. It just feels like the putting surfaces are really tacky at those lower speeds to me.

Personally really enjoyed the challenge of R1. Very strategic coursed with difficult, but not impossible, conditions. Shot a solid bogey-free -7. Thought the very fast greens in R2 were a step too far though. There were a couple shots that were impossible to keep on the green. Bogeys on 5 and 7 ruined my momentum. A poor -2 to put me at -9 at the cut - unsure whether that makes it or not. Felt my putting really let me down again this week, especially in R2 - lost about 6 or 7 shots on the green I reckon. Played my last 2 rounds, -6 and -6. -21 total puts me tied 8th on PS4 early Tuesday. Really hope -9 makes the cut cause I put in 2 solid bogey-fee rounds to finish. I take back what I said about the very fast greens being a step too far - think it was more a case of me playing poorly as opposed to the course being unfair. Overall I loved the course and the challenge of the conditions. Thought it was very fair and not absurdly difficult. Good luck this week all!

My best tournament of the year. Just in time for it to end. Tamed the tornado in rd 3 with my first hole in one of the year on #4 and finished -8. Keep checking PC leaderboards for someone to humble my -26 because I'm a weekly MC. I didnt putt that well but I did find a fair share of good bounces. Ran out of luck in rd 4 with a -3.
