Olympic Golf Competition
The Olympic event coming up will be open for all members that hold a card from our main tours. This will be marked as a special event which means you'll also be able to play in your main tour during the same week.

To be eligible to win a medal you must use master clubs all 4 rounds.

PGA Tour, European Tour & Korn Ferry Tour Playoffs
Three Separate Playoffs - Each Knockout Style

The following playoff format will be in place for each pro tour - PGA, European and Korn Ferry - starting Week 48 (August 2rd). Promotions/Demotions will be off for the playoffs.
** those with 3+ Fair Play pulls are not eligible for playoffs

August 2nd (Everyone registered)
- Make cut (Top 65+ ties) or be top 50 on FedEx points list (PGA) or money list (European, Korn Ferry) after event finalized to move on to August 9th event

August 9th (remaining eligible registered)
- Make cut (Top 30+ ties) or be top 10 on FedEx list (PGA) or money list (European, Korn Ferry) after event finalized to move on to August 16th event

August 16th (remaining eligible registered)
- no cut (R1/R2 deadline still in effect)
- Winner takes tour title and trophy card


Challenge Circuit – No Playoffs
Season plays out normally


News & Notes
- Promotion Event #6 has been cancelled
- Olympic Qualifying Event has been cancelled
- Schedules have been shortened 1 week so that season ends just as PGA 2K21 comes out
- Ryder Cup for main tours delayed - will run when it does in real life
- Playoffs for the Pro Tours will start the week following the Olympic Event
- No Playoffs for Challenge Circuit
- Promotions/Demotions will be turned off starting August 3rd
- TST will be hosting their Ryder Cup out of the TGCTours (Special Events) society during the final week of season

It's too bad that there isn't a season ending CC-AM Championship or CC-Pro Championship. Or play-off of some kind for those that finish the season at the CC levels. I do know that there can be a lot of movement in and out of CC but if you end there, it would be fun to have something to end the season on. Just thinking out loud. :-)

We will be switching - new games take us a bit of time to get the site switched over as well as figure out the game play balance for the tours - best guess is to expect 6-8 weeks after release before we get going for good - will be quite a few exhibition events during that time though.

For the Olympics, is it just whomever finishes 1,2, and 3 wins the individual medals? I assume having world teams is way too time consuming. And in the event of a tie, can we forego the traditional scorecard playoff and instead settle things on the pool table? Or will snooker be forced upon us Americans if foreign countries medal.

Just a reminder that everyone (excluding those with 3+ Fair Play Pulls) is in the Olympic Golf Tournament field. We'll be handing out medals for gold, silver and bronze. Tiebreaker is only in place for Gold Medal. Any ties for silver/bronze will share medal.

PGA Fair Play metrics will be in place for those who are in the medals. Must use Master Clubs all 4 rounds to be eligible for a medal.

Tiebreaker = lowest R4, R3, R2, R1, countback from H18 in R4

TGCTours (Special Events) society

Special Event so you can also play your main tour event as well this week.

No cut, no deadline other than all 4 need to be done before event closes in-game.  Similar to our promo events.
