Interesting idea. Months ago i played a course inspired by the pyramids with a desertic theme, it was really good and full of good ideas about the environment, but it was not so interesting to play, at least personally, cause basically it offered only huge elevation changes and a lot of fairways bunkers..If you think it could be useful for your work to check it, i could try to recover the name (right now i really don't remember), because is possible i saved it in some of my papers.

On my paper there are signed 2 courses that may could be useful (and, i hope, helpful) to check. One is named Sekhet Aaru, the other one is named Pharaoh's Course. I honestly don't remember right now is one of these courses is the course about i said in the previous post, but i can't check them in these days. Good luck

One thing I think would look pretty cool imo would be some big grasses in the river to simulate the papyrus reeds that are so common on the banks of the Nile. Just a thought π

Just a thought π Thanks that's a great idea.. I'm still figuring out how i'm gonna plant in general. Kinda going with a waste bunker dunes look, just plants easier and utilizes open spaces well saving plant meter. Wanted to use palms as the courses I looked up in Cairo have but I don't like how bright green they are so I'll leave the palms for last and decide on them. I'll post an example of the planting style that I think I'm going with

Still incomplete but this is the style think I want to go with.... also due to plot space I've only got 1 pyramid in for now but if space allows it and it doesnt look wacky I 'll add the other 2 the end. Only the left edge is partially done

Only the 18th hole remains ... 1-17 have all been created and the front 9 is completely sculpted. Planting will be done after I publish a plant free version for porting purposes. Holes 1 and 2 have been slightly planted for me to have an idea of the style i want to use ... so here is a view from the tee of the par 3 2nd hole... Also luckily I was able to fit all pyramids in... and using google earth they are pretty accurate! The only part that is not accurate is the fictional branch of the Nile that I added in since the real river flows further away.... Any thoughts are appreciated...
