Here's another reboot of one of my old Links 2003 designs.
Royal Kurland was designed as a rehearsal to Royal Dornoch, my greatest achievement for the Links series. The initial purpose was to build a course where you can see most of the plot form anywhere and especially from a long distance. This was not that easy to achieve at the time, as the maximum horizon length was rather short. I had to wait for the 2003 version to be able to have a look at the 6th green from the 16th tee.
Here is a fist general view oft he course set in a northern (Orcadian, Icelandic?) environment. The land is totally naked with only ruins of dry stone walls used to shelter the sheep at older times. The land is divided in 3 parts: a promontory with high cliffs very exposed to the westerly winds, a valley where a stream winds and cascades and a dune sector near the beach and the club-house. A typical links setting where low scores are easy with no wind and quite unplayable when the winds coming from the other side of the ocean hit the land.
And here is a view of two of the signature holes, the long downhill par 3 13th where the back tee sits over the 12th green a short par 4 suspended above the fjord.
I don't think it will be released before 2K21 (and by the way I expect a better club-house than this one)
Dominique.

Here's another iconic tee-shot at RK :
The 17th back tee over the club-house roofs to a fairway crossed by a burn and with local rules specifying everything on the road or left of it and also 18th fairway are considered like a lateral water hazard. As it is impossible to achieve in TGC, I put only an out-of-bounds zone on the road between the fences.
