This is a really cool course! The bunkering is really well done and is hyper strategic. Well done!

Huge fan of you're work, Matt. This one is no exception. Probably your best in terms of playability and strategy. Coupled with the smoothness and attention to detail we've come to expect with a whodatmatt joint and this becomes an instant contender IMO.

My only criticism is that the fairways are too narrow... the course kinda felt claustrophobic. Seriously though, I knew I was going to enjoy this course when I saw the stream of GDog, Lit, and Hinter playing this beauty. What a really fun and well designed course. I didn't feel on any hole that there was a primary/singular way to approach the hole. I'm sure the round would play out completely different with each pin position. Also, this isn't a typical course that has a few standout holes for me personally. I think this is easily one of the best "full" courses in the contest. Very well done sir! You created a slammin' publish here.

I really appreciate the kind words, guys. I obviously wanted this one to be a wide open course with a plethora of options. And as Babybull pointed out, I didn't want there to be a right or wrong way to play most of the holes. Rather than having you try to figure out how I wanted you to play each hole, I wanted you to figure out how you wanted to play the hole. I wanted to see people approach the holes in different ways, and I wanted the different options to be legitimately different, but I wanted a variety of ways to be viable. In the past when I've tried to provide options, there's usually been a pretty clear best option that everyone took, and the other options were only used on different pin sets. I didn't want to dictate your strategy as much this time around, instead I just wanted to give you a rolling piece of land with a few hazards in the way and let you figure out the best way to attack each hole. I've always been entertained by the creativity of some players hitting onto other fairways to get better looks at pins, and tried to embrace that kind of play style and liberate the golfer by making the majority of the course playable.

So we have one CC course that is all green and another CC course that is all fairway. Both super creative. Nice work Matt!

Only got round to giving this a spin this morning.
Enjoyed this one for sure. A top effort at a wide open track design.....and I thought you nailed the difficulty for CC.

Ported to 2k21 with a couple minor changes. If you're struggling with tempo in the new game and are tired of hitting from the rough, this is the perfect course to escape your troubles.
