Kitay Desert Valley Golf Course is now PORTED TO 2KMy latest course is a desert themed course (not steppe). It is set in a desert canyon. Originally the course was a Swiss but it has now been reborn as a desert themed course. I’m a keen novice and many of you have helped me in the past - particularly meyo and rich68. I’ve watch a lot of design streams - years ago, I watched Andre design Orchid Trail on TGC1 and so on. Any advice and feedback will be appreciated on this old unpublished course brought back from the dead. Anyway, here’s some blurb for the heck of it.. The course is situated in a desert valley, hence its name, Kitay was a fearsome ruler in the 7th Century AD and was known as the most fearsome warrior of his time. He disappeared without trace, but his memory lives on in the canyon and valley that bear his name. Naming them thus was a kind of joke made by the colonisers of the 19th century.
Today, a golf course lies hidden in the valley on all sides by the jagged rock formations that sometimes give golfers precious sanctuary from the desert heat. It is a par 70 of modest length but is well defended. The tight landing areas and sometimes tricky greens can catch out the unwary.
Enough blurb. Here are some NEW pics FROM 2K PORTED VERSION…

Great follow-up to Cole Manor! I enjoyed the low-key planting, but also liked the detail you had in areas, like around the pond on the 14th. Of course, I'm a fan of waterfalls, so I really liked the waterfall on 6/7. I also liked the technique you used for the water flowing over and around the rocks on the edge. I think as you continue to release courses with this level of improvement for each course, you will really start to put out some high quality stunners. Looking forward to the next one sir!

Agree with @babybull you keep getting better with each release. Great job on the water falls, the minimal planting fits well. The only thing I would've liked is more undulating Fairways, Desert and Steppe courses tend to look too flat with little undulations, just my taste. Keep it up Sir
