Okay guys I have a question. Last weeks the stat yards/drive didn't work but the tournaments before that, and now again this week, I always find myself at the bottom 10% of that stat. So my question is, what you you guys do different with the driver? The different with the average is only like 4 yards but still its a weekly thing to be at the bottom. I understand if you don't want to tell the secret 😂 Also id like to know how this stat is build up, is it all shots hit with driver? Is it all tee offs on par 5s and 4s? Thanks in advance! So it is also my worst stat too. I attribute it to me missing more fairways than others and inevitably the ball doesn't travel as far when it hits the rough. I tell myself I just need to slow down little more when planning my drive. I'm not sure if that's even what it is, or if that could be the answer for you but its my thought for myself. No that's the funny thing, FIR is a good stat for me. Maybe my best. So it has to do something with loft I think.

My guess is that it would have have to with a lot of players playing consistently with a fast or slow downswing thatll put a few extra yards on your shots. I usually just stick to a p/p swing and that leaves me towards the bottom of the same stat.

Had a nice -5 on the front round 1 and then just couldn’t get anything going. Was -7 with a bogey free round heading to 18 then I missed the green and just flubbed a rather easy chip and missed the putt for a -6.
Round 2 was better but again a rather easy chip I just messed up and left myself a long putt for only my second bogey and shot -10 to be at -16 at the cut. Relatively easy conditions for this tour so I’m not sure that will get me to the weekend

Wow, this first round is gonna leave a bad taste in my mouth for a really long time. Humming along at -6 thru 10 and then BAM, get smacked in the face by the 11th hole. I swear a putt with two beads going right, broke left.... twice!! I think you scarred me for life with that course last week Daryl! That putt went left and I started convulsing on the floor with flashbacks to terrorland GC. That’ll be a triple bogey thank you very much and I was never the same. -4 first round and need to put together a monumental second round to make the cut this week. -12 second round puts me at -16 and on cut watch this week. Clean card this round and except for a couple shots pushed to the right that cost me (notably on one of the par 5's) I felt pretty good out there. Wish I could have at least made it to -17, but after a -4 first round, i can't complain too much.

Double bogey to start but shot -6 round 1. I was -10 through 14 in round 2 and finished -8. Dangit! After +4 at the cut last week this feels pretty good. One neat thing about my first round is I had 21 putts, that always looks pretty cool. I expect this will be my 6th straight missed cut though, and I felt like I had it in the bag when I was -10 thru 14 in round 2

Second ever event - still working on the nerves. Blowup on the back nine for -4, followed up with a -7 in round 2. Finished with a -8,-7 on the weekend but it looks like it won't matter again haha.
How close in ability is the Korn Ferry Tour? Only asking because I played that event last week and finished -39, would have won. Maybe I just played a lucky round in Q school and got placed too highly with Euro Tour.

First time I've ever played a tour round in the rain. I forgot this game even had it, lol.
Round 1 was a solid -7. Missed a few shorts ones and burned a few edges but otherwise good. Round 2 played a bit better and managed to get the putter behaving a bit better and shot a very pleasing -12.
Hopefully that isn't a million miles off the PS4 guys at the half way mark.

Very good 2nd round for me, -12. Long time ago since I hit approaches so short to the pin. Didn't even need to putt that well. Good luck everyone.

Good point Off the tee- downwind or neutral wind I fully deloft and then go for the fast/ fast or fast/perfect swing. I'm usually about 5-10y past my ghost rivals- but my FIR is a bit lower as I'm good for a very fast a few times per round. Another thing to consider is after playing against a lot of PGA guys as ghost rivals in Casuals society- I'm always longer off the tee... but I suspect they accept just going for perfect/perfect keep it in the blue and sacrafice the extra yardage to ensure they pass the API requirements of their Tour. It's probably a good habit to get into if any of us make the PGA Tour and have the API hanging over our heads. I had planned to play my rounds this morning, but my morning Monster has me all amped up today. Off to the Designer Cave and see if it wears off soon.

I'll keep going my way and trying for perfect perfect every shot cause that will work better for me.

I think I finished with like 3 or 4 straight top 10. I’m currently about 50% making the cut up here and my best finish is 11 I think. It’s tough as hell up here...the players here are so good
