The old fogey needs a slap to the head. Busy week, planning on getting my first two rounds in Thursday. I frickin assumed it would be a 08:00 UTC cut off like everything else but no it’s 04:00. Missed by an hour though when I played my rounds I thought I was okay. I will be back. Sorry guys. Still learning. Only 5th week playing a TGCT. I pretty much sucked though. I assume there are no penalties for getting your first two rounds in late but I couldn’t find anything in the rules or I missed it. See ya next week and I am really looking forward to the Vancouver tournament as I grew up there just hope the course matches the locale. Cheers. I’m pretty sure if you didn’t finish the first round before the cutoff it’s a DNS. There’s no penalty for that. If you got the 1st round in but not the 2nd, it’s a Withdrawl which does have a penalty. Hope that helps Helps a lot. I started my first round an hour late so hopefully a DNS. I didn’t realize anything was wrong until my scores didn’t show up on TGCT. Then I read the rules. ☹️

Brand new to the Korn Ferry or whatever we are calling it this week. I really don’t know what to expect but the threads are a lot livelier than in C.C. Especially for an old fogey like me. Though I don’t drink tea or podcast cookie shows.😉 The old fogey needs a slap to the head. Busy week, planning on getting my first two rounds in Thursday. Considering that the scheduler has no idea what Vancouver looks like, I would not get my hopes up. Unless the course picked fits in with the locale, then, I knew exactly what I was doing and I am a genius.

These posts are getting a little more context. For a newbie you guys are speaking code. I will check out the Vancouver locale and give that guy an earful if there are no coastal mountains, ocean, fjords, canyons, beaches, Stanley Park or if one tree was injured in the design. And it must suit my Ballesteros style of play. I’m going to be in front of the hometown fans.

finished up with a waterball free -11 and a -45 total. just an enjoyable tournament. Kudos to designer and scheduler. it was one of those courses where a fair amount of wind helped my style of play. On to drink a scotch and have some fun with Ellie Mae. Yeeeee Doggies.

The Bringer of Wind will tell us otherwise but the Tournament name bears no relation to the course, it might be different in Euro/PGA. Royal Dornoch is a fantastic golf course but it’s Scottish links rather than Vancouver Mountains.

Congratulations to the Pinnacle Bank Championship winner: Scotland's Darren Pearson. I'm glad Heartlands Golf Club was received positively (in the main) & look forward to hosting another event on the KF Tour in the near future. Thanks to scheduler hmammoth (Dan) for selection & all the rangers / reviewers who do a great job behind the scenes. Good luck to all for the rest of the season. SAM.
