Congrats on the win Vincent! Always great to see new players getting a victory. Until they getting dq'ed two or three weeks later, then their victory seems kinda dishonest.
You're such a cynic Dave

You're such a cynic Dave True though, it's happened at least 3/4 times this year.

You're such a cynic Dave True though, it's happened at least 3/4 times this year. To be fair, when I won my first a few weeks ago, I called the win into question myself (though I wouldn't say it was a dishonest win). I had a wonky swing that week, was almost positive I was going to be dq'd, and when I won I thought it was dumb that I could have won that week with a wonky swing but perfect tempo and great putting. I still have a pull swing which I fight, and I believe I'm not being punished enough for bad swings. Anyway, hopefully things get better with the new game.

titan30003 In order to win you had to pass API, which is the epitome of honest play. When people fail API, then sure, they have no right to win and need to work on fixing their swing. I for one say congratulation on passing the fair play policy API machine and achieving a well deserved Victory. There's nothing to be ashamed of.

I for one say congratulation on passing the fair play policy API machine and achieving a well deserved Victory. There's nothing to be ashamed of. Thanks Sean, appreciate that. When the rule was instituted, I was told that my rounds easily passed during the test week. This week was my first API fail, and it was due to one bad (very bad) round. It is strange though that on a week when I felt my swing was bad, that I was able to do so well and win. I do think the game is very flawed. So I understand people thinking there is something fishy going on and now look down on my wins. It bothers me a bit, but it really bothers me when people immediately look down upon this week's winner because he's a first time winner apparently, as though that's some sort of logical impossibility without cheating. Also, Congrats Vincent on the win. Sorry that me failing the API has put your win into question (that is such a stupid thing to have to say, but here we are).
