That may be a good idea. My thoughts on the settings are wind meter off bc the players wont know the exact speed of wind every shot. Scout camera off bc they cant go look exactly where the ball will land. Then I would leave the rest on. Green grid leave it on bc they all carry the books that show them exactly how the green breaks. I just didnt want to make people play that way if they didnt want to. Also I know after 3 rounds alot are really close to the pros so we will see how it shapes out after 4. We had it easy with the wind be low for tournament. Usually it blows 15 to 25 but it was very light winds this week at harbour town. I like the idea of wind and scout cam off. Think that would make this a really great society Hence the low scores for the pros, yeah it was pretty benign out there, especially for Harbour Town

Damn, haven't been checking the forum, I'm actually good with those settings turned off, I'll play my next round with the ones you recommended off Lab, I got off to a hot start to this one, wasn't able to finish last tournament, so I'm all in on this one.

I’ve been to the travelers and have actually played river highlands. This is a pretty good representation of the actual course. Truly shocked they actually were able to make this play somewhat difficult. Lab truly I’ve been waiting for a society like this so fun. Also still down for wind and scout cam to be disabled Thanks man. Yea I'm going to give it this week and then decide about the settings. Feel free to go ahead and turn them off personally if you want but it may go active next week.

I mean it already has quite a different feel playing against the pros as well as our fellow XB1'ers, such a cool concept, glad to be a part of it. So depending on the cut line you figure everyone's standings depending on the real tournament correct?

So if you play first 2 rounds and see you wouldn't make the cut against the pros then you don't have to finish. However, I can't see the scores after 2 rounds unless I wait to play my rounds along with the tour. So whether you don't finish or miss the cut then you don't get points at the end.

Well this course is definitely pretty easy. I have played with scout cam off and still doing well. I expect several of us to beat the pros this week. The wind has been really calm so far thru the 1st 2 tournaments.

Played R1 TST style, +6...maybe I'll turn the green grid back on. Had no problems with drive/approach, but some of those pins give a lot of false reads - ball breaking/ double breaks going opposite from the read. Also, there were 1 or 2 that felt on the border illegal based on what the putt actually did..
Got my work cut out for me to try and get above the cut line.
This is a lot of fun! I'd vote no scout and wind speed to get the scoring in the more realistic range..turn off green grid per user choice - it's a whole lot tougher having to read greens without the grid...

Alright guys looks like Saturday round was harder than expected and looks like alot of us will be beating the pros this week. So next week we are going to turn the wind meter off and the scout camera off to make it more realistic. Let's see how next week goes and we can tweak as we go. We have to remember we are playing a video game so people of our skill will most likely beat the pros on some weeks.

Wasn't able to finish all 4 rounds - but I was +5 after 2 so I'm pretty sure I didn't make the cut this week. Course didn't play too easy for me, though I did play round 1 TST style, so it is definitely harder with no scout, and no green grid..
..On to next week!

I think Lab is setting the wind meter off and the scout cam off for this upcoming week and yeah, my scores will go down for certain. But I think he is leaving the green grid on so once i have taken my 7 shots to get to the green I'll at least be able to 3 putt from there! LOL! Good luck everyone!

Ya, my +6 round was with green grid off - but the no scout isn't too bad - you'll be utilizing the overhead to key on landmarks to aim at. It's not too bad, though I'm sort of used to it as I do play TST and USE as well. It'll be quite interesting how the scores shake out.
