Complete and utter disaster. -4. -2. for a -6 at the cut. Good news: Had an ace late in round 2. Bad news: Literally everything else. Expected to do really well, and couldn't really do what I wanted to do. Fun side note: I've been battling some physical things last 14 months. Knee replacement last March and then 2 back surgeries, the las being last week. So I've been on the narcotics for 14 straight months and they were switched last week. Sometimes depending on timing of the meds when I play I just can't seem to wait to pull the string on the downswing resulting in quite a few 95% shots. Then as if it couldn't get worse, when I do push the downswing my hands don't always want to do what my head tells it and I can't convert the downswing with any force. So, as much as I try not to I get slows and very slows. Don't do drugs!!😯. I swear I'm better that this, at least that's what I tell myself.

Brutal start for me. I knew it was going to be rough after I doubled the first hole and it was 18 handicap. Went E in R1 and -5 in R2 so I’m -5 after 2. Between this and the US Open I got my butt kicked today.

Had to get round 2 in to avoid the WD...shot -5 to be -5 at the cut and in for now. I guess I’ll just have to power through 2 more rounds...yay 🤦♂️

Yeah high winds second round and tough going. I somehow shot a bogey free -6 to go with my -8 in the first round and surprisingly find myself joint top of the leaderboard, well on PS4 anyway 😂 -9 under 2nd round to move into a tie with you for first at -14. I was -8 through the front 9... -5 for round 3 -19 overall

Big shout to Gary Wade who birdied ALL the par threes in round 1. That is quite an achievement.

After a lot of decent second shots into the greens I was finding myself 30+ft away and making sure I don't 3 putt. Tied 10th now lol

This was my first tournament after qualifying at Helmsley last week. Very difficult course and not really my cup of tea, but the greens were definitely healthy in size to offset some of the gimmicky pin positions. +1, -1, -5, E for me, but the last two won't matter ha! Looking forward to playing next week and maybe sniffing the cut line.

-8 thru 2. Yes, several pins you just have to intentionally play for chips/flops...at least that was my approach. Also a lot of pins where you want to be short of the pin, but it’s impossible to be due to physics of the game and green design. Not my favorite greens and pins either, but I always like the variety and I prefer the tougher courses as a few VF or VS swings doesn’t cost me 4 shots on the field like on the easy tracks.

Played round 3 last night and shot +2. Never had so many three putts in my (video game) life! -5 total going into the final round.
Can he put together an under par round? Will he totally implode and end up over par for the tournament? Anything is possible in fantasyland!!
Stay tuned to find out!

So that was miserable. Was 6th in the field in driving and 15th in GIR, but missed the cut by 3 or 4 strokes with 62 putts in 2 rounds. 5 lip-outs, missed a 4 footer, a 6 footer, a 7 footer, and several 10 footers. Was +1 in the first round, started -4 through 9 in the second so I had a chance but I finished with 8 straight pars and a bogey.
Which is embarrassing since I judged this course so I've probably played it more than any of you.

After a horrible first two rounds and spending today on watch if I'd fall far enough for a demo mark(think im safe), I decided to finish up the event for the sake of the cow. Played much quicker, with way less caution and thought and somehow I finished 7 strokes better than I did in my first two rounds, go figure.
-1, +2, -2, -4
-5 for the event
