Partial shots are inferior in every way and should be avoided like the plague. I've been saying this in many twitch streams since August of 2018. Fast/VF always incur an accuracy penalty whereas a slow tempo only effects distance. Additionally, a partial shot imparts less spin than a full shot, which depending on the circumstance can be detrimental. Matter of fact, I used to have 8 different slow tempo's mapped and charted out (different Avatar positions), not just for chips/flops, but for Drivers (285, 280, 275, and so on), full LW shots, etc.
I'm really, Really, REALLY scratching my head when people make comments that hitting a slow is an exploit, or that they're "honest" so they don't do it. It's a legitimate in game mechanic. Seriously man, some of you guys get carried away with calling anything you disagree with a cheat, exploit, or dishonest attempt to game the system.
And for the argument, "IRL you wouldn't pause at the top of your golf swing"; the in game mechanic of hitting a "slow" does not translate to an actual "pause", NOT AT ALL. It simply refers to the pace and speed of your tempo. If it's your desire to go from a 3:1 tempo to a 12:1 tempo, have at it. It's your golf swing and you have every right to play the way you like. Besides, I'm an Arcade guy at heart and have little interest in emulating every exact detail that we'd find IRL. I'm looking for a birdie fest experience, preferably -60 or better, and enjoy hitting consistent in-game golf shots.

But why keep these exploits secrets? Is it to have an advantage? To have fair competition then all exploits need to be shared.

Aside from the push/pull, I genuinely didn't know any other in-game exploits existed until you mentioned the "quit game and restart". I haven't heard of any other secrets rumors going on out there, so I can't help much.
edit: Back to my earlier post about those calling this, that, or a wiffle ball bat an "exploit". People need to be more diligent in their consistency. How so? Well, what is an exploit?
Some guys think chipping out of a bunker is an exploit, yet, the internet is littered with Professional golfers teaching you how to chip out of a bunker!! Here's one example.
The same can be said for putting out of a bunker, etc, etc, etc!

So, I figured out the slow chip and flop months ago and did it for a couple weeks. It felt wrong so I stopped. Every second you hold your backswing at the top is simply a yard off the distance to a point. 9 yard chip pull back and count off 8 seconds travels 4 yards, 7 seconds is 5 yards, 6 seconds 6 yards etc. Same with flops, so dumb I couldn’t go on using it. But hey, I’m honest. Another dumb exploit I found is if you quit the game before your ball stops when you restart you get another outcome. I found it by accident when I rage quit in Maximum Daily then decided to keep playing. My ball originally roll off the green 100 ft but when I restarted I was 4 ft from pin. Lol. I reproduced it numerous times in testing. Never finished a tourney doing it because I’m honest. I have a video. Edit: I deleted the video because some friends didn’t want another exploit getting out. But easy to try yourself. So you take, flicking, short swinging, slow chips, and restarts not to mention scripts how can somebody compete that just wants to play an honest game? Multiple DQ no biggie have fun! For those about to rock we salute you. I believe it was an internet issue that boom boom had in the very 1st Masters when he got dq’d, or so he claimed. No idea if it left him 4 feet from the cup or just got to re hit? If theres an exploit/easy way to play then people are going to use it. TGC1 had the creeper flop which sounds like the delayed chip and superloft as well, because everyone in real life takes a 3 iron or whatever it was and opens the face so far that you take 40 yards off and lands with little roll out. 2K21 will probably be no different or with variations as HB’s solution is to remove shot feedback from ghosts so you have no clue what they are doing.

The b%&ing and moaning about the legitimacy of players/exploiters on this thread every week is becoming annoying to the point that even fadge has checked out.
I think a valid (albeit tedious to manage) solution would be to require anyone in the PGA to be required to have recorded video documentation of their TGCT rounds. That way when so and so averages .8 putts per hole for a tourney or shoots a -23 there is proof of how it happened.
In real golf, the player who hit the shots plus a witness sign off on whether or not the score is legitimate. Why are we skipping that step at the highest level of video game golf?

I only pointed out the gameplay portion of the exploit I found almost 3 years ago for TGC2 and continued in this version of the game. It has nothing to do with TGCT or this weeks' event or calling out any person.
I used cheese in TGC1 like the lofted 9I chip, but I have moved away from this kind of play personally.
I only chimed in with something that was pertinent to a current gameplay mechanic. I never said anything more except for the gameplay portion.

I'm pretty sure this doesn't work for everyone, I've been playing before and if I get disconnected or I rage quit, my last shot finishes wherever it would've finished whether I watched it til the end or not, it's never finished in a different position or allowed me to have a mulligan.

I think a valid (albeit tedious to manage) solution would be to require anyone in the PGA to be required to have recorded video documentation of their TGCT rounds. That way when so and so averages .8 putts per hole for a tourney or shoots a -23 there is proof of how it happened. I record every single round I play for this very reason - to have the proof. I know I can shoot crazy low scores (although not always reflected in these horrid PGA events), and I know I don't cheat - ever ... period. Most of my lowest rounds are posted on my YT channel. So, with that said, here's a compilation of every chip shot I had in my two good rounds (whether they went in or not). Some of them were excellent shots and made me very happy ... a couple were just pure dumb luck.

That is some great chipping. I can only conclude that you are using some sort of yet undiscovered exploit, that even you yourself might be unaware of. Perhaps the exploit is nothing more than practicing too much, or having too much natural skill, but an exploit it must surely be.
