I came across this video of a playthrough on YouTube. It looks like PS4 footage and has just in-game commentary but I thank them for the play and video.

I played this one last week late at night and forgot to post! Really awesome entry here. Some really fun and quirky hole ideas that really work on the cliff sides. Visually awesome. This will turn some heads in the contest!

I enjoyed it....mind you, I did get very low winds .. may have been a different story if I had 17mph and lost all my balls down the hillside haha Particularly liked the approach on the 15th, the green cut a striking silhouette through the moody lighting. Nice

I really like your design style. There's something about how this course meanders through the trees that keeps things really engaging and allows plenty of opportunities to shape shots. My favorite was slicing the ball out over the cliffs edge on 16 to get around that tree. Ended up with a 12 ft birdie putt which left a massive grin on my face. My favorite looking hole was probably number 7. Perfectly framed, with the flag glistening in the sunlight, just beautiful. There were a few too many par 3's for my taste but they all felt distinctly different which must have been a challenge. Really good work overall, one I'll come back to for sure.

Well I didn't make it past the first cut in the 2020 CCDC but I did get an Honorable Mention. A big thank you to mayday_golf83 and the judges for the time and effort they have put into running the competition. I was fortunate enough to have mayday_golf83 as one of my judges and he has graciously allowed me to link his playthrough video review of my course (see below). He does highlight the good, the bad and the meh but I think this is still an excellent showcase of my course (including its limitations) and also a great learning tool for other designers. Also thank you to all those that have scheduled the course in their societies and also those that have played it. It is now handicapped and up to 657 plays (although it still has a bit of catching up to Carinthia Club's 16,187 plays! ).

Enjoyed my round for the most part, and it is a great & beautiful canyon indeed. XBox, back tees, pro clubs. Didn't putt well at all, so finished a handful over par. I actually saw the lower falls when I went left on #8 - not many get to see them, I'll wager.
My designer mind says "too much of the trouble was on one (the left) side" , but few other notes.
As a player, I really don't like the dawn/haze combo - I was in L.A. in the early 90s and this particular combo always reminds me of brown & smoggy days there.
Per my usual efforts at 'community', I played one of yours, please try one of mine ! I'm submitting Fleming River for the database, it's the most recent.

I have ported this into PGA 2K21 but I have taken the opportunity to make some changes taking on board some of the feedback from mayday_golf83 and reviewing my original design plan. The changes include: - Adding a second tee set to take advantage of the ability to schedule different tees in the same tournament (Green tees added - see new card below)
- Modifying the default weather so there is less glare
- Modified the middle section of hole 8
- Modified the middle section of hole 13
- Modified the area to the left of the green on hole 14
- Removed the strips of heavy rough between fairway and bunkers so balls generally run off the fairway into the bunker
- Made some minor planting changes (additions and removals)

I've been wondering if you where gonna port this course. Definitely one of the hidden gems from the cc contest and one of my personal favourites. Interested to try out the new improved version.

Many thanks to my fellow Brew Crew member Ashton Fox ( Ashton Fox) for his play through on 2K21:
