A sloppy round 2 at -6 gives me -14 at the halfway point and a likely missed cut. My ball was allergic to the fairway, just couldn't get it to settle without rolling into the rough.
Will find my way back to the course later this week to finish up my rounds for the golden cow

Started off nice and was -5 through 7 then up and down play plagued me for the rest of the first 2 rounds. Finished -8 and -5 to sit at -13 at the cut.
Liked the course a lot but some of the pins were brutal...hole 11 in particular. This type of course with that kind of wind, firmness, and greens the way they are and pin placements is just beyond my level of play. I don’t understand how anyone can shoot multiple rounds in the 50s here....just not sure I’ll ever be more than a cut line player here 🤦♂️

I'm taking a mental health break on R1, #10 tee. 6 of 9 approaches within 5' on the front, but thanks to a 3 putt from 4', I'm only at -2... cant get that crap out of my head, so i resume tomorrow.

How in the hell did Daxon Blaze end up in Euro with us chumps? He's a regular top 10 pga player...top ten in wgr?

I curse myself, only my 2nd week in the European tour, and found myself getting excitable at scoring a -9 on the 1st round and giving myself a shot at making a cut, only to then card a -3 on round 2 There is always next week!

One of my new favorite courses in the game. Similar in style to the course I am currently designing for the cc design challenge actually.

R1- so after pitching a tent and camping out overnight on the 10th tee (seemed like a great place you'd want to camp out!), i promptly missed an 8' birdie putt on 10, and 3 putted from 8' on 11 to drop to -1. Throwing darts and I'm -1 at 12?!?! fought back the last 6 holes to finish -5.
R2: much the same. bad bounces, putts not dropping. come to 11 at -3, massive d|ck punch pin and 3 putt, 3 putt on 12 and my back foam roller becomes 2 foam rollers. Fought back again to finish -5 and -10 at the cut. Looks like a missed cut- and possible red tick.
ETA: for the How Now Brown Cow Cup R3: -10 R4: -9 Total -29
retreating to the Design Cave, see you bozos next week.

Hunt for the Golden Cow progress report - up mup kupen nup Nice track with a good level of risk / reward that is very scoreable depending on the wind / conditions. Round 1 hit it reasonably well but not a lot of luck with the putts; lots of shaved cups or coming up 4 inches short; unfortunately 3 brain fade shot selections cost me 4 strokes. Finished up at -6 with a lot of work to do in round 2. Round 2 played ok, those cups were still not that friendly, at least only 1 brain fade shot this round. Finished up with -9. So sitting -15 at the cut and sweating the cut-line; with a few left to play 1 or 2 rounds it's going to be a knife edge. Hoping to squeak in and clear 1 Doyley red kiss. For the Cow Hunt I'm hoping to try and play as well in round's 3 & 4; I might then be able to vacate the Cellar and Art Vandelay 's barcalounge. Good luck to those yet to play / finish.

Bonjour, hats off to fransslabak. If this is the course difficulty one needs to be comfortable with to survive in Euro, then I'm on the wrong flight. I had such a hard time out there that I didn't even enjoy playing anymore. Whenever I thought I have taken everything into account, I could hear Woody Woodpecker laughing at me right after hitting the ball. High wind, big elevation changes, difficult lies, and tough greens all at the same time, that's when it gets frustrating for humble little players like me. So the only thing that's left this week is checking out how many demo marks I'll get with -7 at the turn. All in all, I had rounds of -2, -5, -4, and -3 to finish the week at -14. Good luck guys! -25 under through 3

The Hunt for the Golden Cow, Week 2 so far: I actually have started and like the comment above decided to camp out to cool my nerves with the vf ds dilemma because once again I missed the cut by a stroke or two so I will be finishing my rounds this evening most likely. -11 at the cut

-17 at the turn. #5 on Xbox. Heck ya! #29 and currently falling overall across all platforms. (picture some tears here too.......) Love the course. The course scheduler is the best in the business. The disparity in the ability to compete on the Xbox console for anything close to promotion marks (save for one person per week on average) is quite the conundrum.

How in the hell did Daxon Blaze end up in Euro with us chumps? He's a regular top 10 pga player...top ten in wgr? PGA to BCT Didn't want to "relearn" a swing to attempt to hit it straight. I continue to play my pull. BCT to Q-School Played just well enough to wind up here on Euro. Still playing the same pull. Not sure what kind of answer you're expecting, but that about sums it up.

The Hunt for the Golden Cow, Week 2 so far: After a poor start of not even showing up in week 1 to defend my title, I have upgraded to the ranks of "played" this week. -28 final
