I'll start this off as no-one has bothered yet ππ 4 bogies in round 1 cost me a decent score but then played well in round 2 although obviously could've been better -8 -12 for -20 at the cut which was 6 shots off the PS4 leader when I finished ... Is that enough for a cut around here these days??? Good luck all and have fun!

Cut watching for sure.

Well I'm not cut watching - I'm demo mark watching.
Just absolutely terrible. How on earth can I go from -3 through 4 holes to shooting -5 in R1? -10 in R2, but still some utter tripe in the middle for that.

Jumped in early to try and continue my good form from last week. Average -9 opening round. Putter was ice cold. Missed an easy 10ft putt to open R2, then a 6ft putt on 5 for eagle. Every single putt I missed seemed to lip out on the left hand side. Hit a serious bump in the middle of my round, played 6 holes (8-13) in 1 under. Broke that streak with an eagle on 14 though. Another average round, of -11 this time in easy conditions. Sitting at -20, I too will be cut watching with the gentlemen above. Good luck this week folks
Edit: Seems everyone is shooting -20 this week!

I'm -25 through two. Annoying Round 1 - two pars on the shorter Par 5's.
Round 2 was my best tee to green round for a good while. 15 birdies and think my longest birdie putt was 13 feet.
Nice Track

Hi guysπ. Finally "earned" enough demotion marks to leave the PGA. I don't know, feels like maybe I got the proverbial monkey off my back. Playing my two rounds every week was kinda getting old. Also, I must say that the atmosphere over here seems, well, kinder. First priority is maybe make a freaking cut! Anyway, saw some familiar names in the thread, be nice to the new guy.π€

Finished 64-63 for a -42 total. Plenty of good stuff in both rounds, inc an ace, but tossed in two really bad bogies and missed some putts (although i suspect everyone will on these greens)
Enjoyable track. The very firm-high winds in the same direction got very dull towards the end, particularly with some of those tucked pins. Numerous greens that were physically impossible to hold.
Another 30th place awaits i suspect. GL all.

62-61 start for -21. Felt like that was the absolute worst I could shoot. 3-putted 10 both rounds, resulting in a double first round. Felt like I hit the perfect lag putt in r1 and it rounded the lip then just wouldn't stop, ran 18ft downhill. That green can do one. Round 2 was -8 through 9 then bogey 10 after knocking it to 15'. Never really got it going again.
Should survive the cut and hopefully finish strong over the weekend.

This is basically all we get now. High winds, granite greens, inaccessible pin positions. All in the name of trying to achieve realistic scores. If my first two rounds don't give you an idea which setup I prefer, you obviously don't understand the difference π just the 12 shots.

Cut watching at -19...prob not really worth it as I finished -29. Good enough for 60th if I do make the cut. Many many putts just slid by or turned away in the last couple of feet of travel. I think only a few shots better than my USE score on the same track a few weeks back. Cheers

It does feel like rounds are being set up to cater for the elite players on the tour, not for the many. High winds, tucked pins & pins always near slopes all in abundance.
